Keep track of it at Weather.com. Their Hurricane Central section does a good job of updating regularly.

Also keep an eye on NCL.com. Cruises changes due to weather will be posted on the front page.

Anybody know how that hurricane is going to affect the 10/1 escape?

Well, if the Hurricane Center is correct, Matthew will not be turning north until late Sunday. Sunday is projected to be SSE of Jamaica. We should have sailed, and be past it's projected path by then leaving Matthew way behind us.

Our problem is, how close to Miami will it pass? Looks like we will be working Friday putting up window shutters and securing the yard.

Nuts.

Cheers.

Seems like Matthew will be way East of our path and not close to St Thomas and Tortola. The question is how far out the wrap around clouds and wind extend. It could make it rough or cloudy[emoji22]

Guess we need to keep our fingers crossed and hope.

Also it looks like the Allure will for sure be rerouted somewhere since both the ship and MAtthew are schedule to meet in Hati. They could show up in St Thomas I guess.

The Oct 7th NCL Dawn to Bermuda could be interesting. Matthew will be a strong storm passing just south of Cape Cod on the 7th or 8th.

yes...and I am concerned for return trip of Gem...at sea Oct 6th..Newport on Oct.7...arriving NYC Oct 8th..

How about the Escape that is at sail now??

Does anyone know any information about how they are being affected?

My daughter and her friends are on this cruise and of course I have no contact with her and

am SO WORRIED!

You can contact her on the ship if you would like to check on her.

We sail out on October 3rd to the Bahamas on the Sky. Disembarkation is on the 7th in Miami. Seems like it will be out of the way when we get back but I'm not sure our itinerary will happen for Freeport and Nassau. They might have to swing us to the Caribbean instead. Guess we'll see.

Ship is in the Bahamas today ahead of the storm. Should be no issues, now those of us leaving tomorrow may be different

Due EAST of NY there's a RED DOT .. (again WAY past any bonafide Forecast aka W.A.G

this is the MSG you'll get if you pan up and click on it:

Name: MATTHEW

Type: Hurricane

Position: 40, 71

Valid: Oct 9, 2016 2:00 PM ET

Max Winds: 80mph

Gusts: 100mph

Direction: NE

They could VERY WELL go under around etc to get to the Bahama's (keep an eye on TS Nicole tracking towards the Bahama's PFFFFT and Mathew - as they're just recovering...)

Most important ENJOY/BE Safe !
