Best cocktails on the PG

Do you have a favourite cocktail?

My favourites are

Efren's Cosmos - I dont drink these anywhere else in the world!

Ernesto's Champagne Mojitos

Randy's Ginger Cosmos

The last two were from recipes my DD took on board but they were perfectly executed

Tess's Margaritas - unfortunately I hear that Teresita is no longer on board bnut I may be wrong.

Elmo is the consummate bartender and taught all of the above his many secrets.

Alicia made a mean fresh strawberry margarita as well.

I always thought Berries and Milk and lovely milky after dinner drink with Chamboard and Frangelico was a PG special drink only to discover that it is available on other Regent ships so the recipe may be been acquired from the time Regent ran the PG.

We drank mostly champagne on board but those cocktails sound delicious. I'll definitely have to make a note of them so I can sample them when onboard in November.

I am now inspired to branch out beyond my usual martini or vodka tonic. Those drinks sound luscious.

Its your chance to try various drinks. I dont like too much alcohol so Efren will make my cosmo light on the alcohol.

I agree with the cosmo's being the best. I also liked the drink of the day-every single one!!!!

Apple martini !!!!!!!!!!

Twin, I remember tasting the apple martini in the martini tasting event.

Now Ernesto made a special drink for a die hard drinker- vodka and fruit - basically a glass of vodka with 2 pieces of fruit for vitamins!

Alicia's negronis (my favorite cocktail), made correctly the first time and every time without instructions or recipe-checking.

AND, she remembered it was my fave despite the two-year gap between PG cruises. "Hello, welcome back! Would you like a negroni?"

Simply the best.

I'm curious - are all of these cocktails included in the "all-inclusive" cruise price? We couldn't find details on what types of wine/spirits are included and which ones cost extra.

This will be our first cruise on the Paul Gauguin (July 28), and we're really looking forward to it!

Alicia made the BEST cocktail at Tahaa. It was a version of a Pina Colada but waaaaaay better. It was superb - even when enjoyed out of plastic cups!
