  1. Have you booked, or do they overlap!!!!??
  2. Yes. I couldnā€™t believe the bargain that was business class airfare either!
  3. @Mauzac @Mr Luxury @cruising.mark.uk. Also booked! V1 and v2 closed but got a v3 and business air šŸ˜
  4. Thanks Selbourne. When we were last on Aurora, in August, only about five tables for two along the corridor were fit drinking and these were full of people on the long waitlist for dining. It didnā€™t used to be like that.
  5. Side question please. Never had the drinks package before but will be getting the deluxe package. The Glasshouse has my preferred wines including nyetimber sparkling, which is not available elsewhere. Could I get one from the bar and say take to Andersenā€™s? The glasshouse is so full of diners nowadays it is less like a bar where you can just enjoy a drink, although we will be dining there a lot. Also, could I get a glass of wine or a coffee from Costa and enjoy it in my cabin? Thanks
  6. Agreed. Weā€™ve been stuck there a few times.
  7. Seabourn same as P&O? Cruise both. Not the same
  8. Hi. Reckon Iā€™ve not done a B2B P&O cruise since about 2005! So a bit rusty and some new things around since then, so please forgive all the questions - on a B2B are the two cruises treated separately on board? Is billing after the first cruise then the second for B2Bs including OBC allocation and spend etc. - which leads me on to OBC. Would shareholders credit be based on the two separate cruises or the overall combined length? It would make a difference to the amount. it would be 12/7 or 19 days - can a drinks package be purchased for one segment only or does it have to be for the full B2B length? - Iā€™m looking to rebook this holiday using a deposit already laid down on an earlier cruise. Iā€™ll speak to the travel agent but whilst Iā€™m at it, I know the new cruise must be more expensive but is the new price solely the base P&O price and do you think it will be after the 10% B2B discount? Iā€™m thinking so but my preferred cabin is Ā£14 cheaper for two people after discount šŸ¤£. Iā€™d end up booking a cabin grade I really donā€™t fancy for the sake of making it work. I presume any future cruise is ok for the transfer (ie no time restriction). Thank you šŸ‘šŸ»
  9. Ha. Interesting. Ours was 27 Aug. So my theory is right unfortunately. We thought it was a nice touch and weā€™re impressed
  10. Interesting. I did wonder if there werenā€™t that many and so they combined the offering to Caribbean, Ligurian and Baltic. It was a one week cruise with quite a younger age group than usual (but a very nice one I might add).
  11. Aurora was also waiter served end Aug. An impressive touch and much improved on recent buffet experience.
  12. Will It include hot chocolate does anyone know?
  13. On a follow up, how easy or difficult is it to book ocean grill please? Does it book up before boarding? Could we book most nights without problem? I wondered how big it was? Particularly as speciality dining options on Arcadia are limited. Thank you
  14. Thatā€™s a really helpful reply thanks Selbourne. If I could just trouble you one bit more, do you recall the cover charge on the ocean grill please? I appreciate that they can vary. It seems there are few menu items that are at a supplement so I presume it is reasonably high given the ingredients.
  15. I wonder if anyone can share their views please. We love Aurora. Speciality dine every night, mostly in the glasshouse but sometimes in Sindhu. However, the itineraries on offer in 2025 seem to us to be better/more interesting on Arcadia. Although we sailed on Arcadia a lot when it was the newest ship, we havenā€™t been on since an Acapulco/Panama Canal transit over 10 years ago. I can see Arcadia now has Sindhu, Ocean Grill and perhaps a pop up Glasshouse on sea days? I think then it had a restaurant called East and Gary Rhodes. The Arcadia choice concerns me given how much we visit them. I am assuming Sindhu quality will be the same across both ships. How does Ocean Grill compare to the Glasshouse on Aurora? I presume it is better than the Beach House? Does it have many covers? Finally, is the Glasshouse pop up, assuming it continues, any good/comparable between Arcadia and Aurora. thanks
  16. Fantastic. What good news. Weā€™re just off Aurora and had never considered the drinks package before on our many cruises. This is mainly because the restrictive classic package excluded most drinks we prefer such as nice wines and premium gins and fever free. I didnā€™t start thinking seriously until I came back and started researching the deluxe package and then it was too late to find out on board. However, I think if it includes these premium selections then for us it could be worth it, even though we are not big drinkers. Nyetimber is fantastic and we prefer it to taittinger, which I think is excluded in the deluxe package. Do you happen to know whether the deluxe package excludes any other glasshouse wines as well as taittinger please? Thanks so much
  17. Does anyone know if the deluxe drinks package covers glasses of nyetimber in the glasshouse please? Very specific but very keen to know and canā€™t find the answer. Thank you šŸ™‚
  18. Thatā€™s my cruise. It was for a dry dock but that was on the pre covid schedule I believe. When it was delayed that slot was not needed. Thatā€™s what the northern lights cruise is 16 nights, not the usual 12.
  19. Thank you. It is very helpful but I think the glasshouse wines arenā€™t on there (having just come back off Aurora).
  20. Sorry if this has already been referenced but how do you know which glasshouse wines are included please? I know tattinger isnā€™t but is nyetimber for instance? What is the cut off on the deluxe package? What about kyro gin in Andersonā€™s. Thanks
  21. If you could get a table! A victim of its own success. Especially with the book readers on sea days
