  1. Which is the location in my map above (just along the road from if)
  2. Thanks rallydave. That’s really helpful for my future planning 😁
  3. Think it has already been stated in this thread. If it’s an experience marketed section they are included except for kayaks and submarines.
  4. Novice here. Do you order an Uber through an app
  5. On October off Aurora it was just past the wedding cake building at the end of the corso, near a couple of temples. Not far from the capitoline museum and the back way to the forum. See below
  6. That seems a really low checked luggage allowance for an antarctica trip
  7. Crikey. I’m just over 50 but have sailed on P&O i30+ times since my mid 20s (and others). I’d never dream of watching ant and dec. it’s not just an age thing.
  8. I’ve done a private tour from another cruise line. Visited the botanical gardens, the National park, gorgeous beaches, had an amazing quality lunch at the beach and Deshaies with all the locations from DP and a rum distillery. A superb tour and would love to return. I too researched for an independent holiday! I agree with you also about montelbano. Ciao 😁
  9. Nothing about carryon and pretty sure the 50 lbs is per bag but, will be checking to make sure as 25 lbs per bag is ludicrous Glad nothing about carryon. Going to check on the suitcases and weight limits as Seabourn booked me Business that allows 70 lbs per suitcase. Did you get the answer to this please? Does anyone have any knowledge of the allowance on the venture antarctica charter flights please per bag? Thanks
  10. That’s really helpful thank you. Was it possible to, on a normal non kaiseki dinner order initially, then make further orders to try different plates etc
  11. Not sure you mean that. Lucca is near to Livorno
  12. And seabourn. Got my free week cruise still to cash in for 140 sailed nights
  13. Why not introduce a new tier not time based but with higher sailed days. You are then rewarding all loyal customers over a lifetime of travel not just retired ones who can sail a high proportion of days over recent years.
  14. When we were on Aurora July 2019 there was a shuttle (not P&O) to the skylift from the side of Aurora which was reasonable. You got tickets in one of the booths near the ship. We enjoyed the cable car ride and it wasn’t busy. Trails at the top and yes we did watch the mad people jumping off the edge. Loen skylift has an Instagram account. Maybe you can message them.
  15. Photographers back on board is a good thing?!!!
  16. Agreed. Mine too Oriana 1997, latest Oct 22 Aurora
  17. You can on one side. There is a row of tables for two the other side of the corridor plus access to spiral steps down to champions However, much is private as you have said.
  18. Is the layout like a normal inside, ie small corner sofa/table etc? Does look like a good choice. I was going to ask about the white spaces above/below and any noise but I’ve been beaten to it. Thank you again for taking the time. Much appreciated
  19. Has anyone any photos or experience of large inside or large outside cabins on Aurora? Can’t find much by way of search on the internet or here (apart from some helpful posts from AndyMichelle in 2019). Thanks
  20. That will serve you well but definitely take layers. We’ve had both ends of the scale in a number of summer trips. Temps as low as the 50s, mist and rain and an entire cruise in july 2019 with temperatures in the high 70s/low 80s. Of course, even then it does drop cooler at night. I can’t recall which month you said your trip was. In may there will likely still be snow on the mountainsides along the fjords.
