  1. I would like a stop at Coco Cay but not going to do a 6 day or less cruise to get there.
  2. Sure, my husband loves a double whopper with cheese, I hate them so a split decision here.
  3. Yes, I was planning on going through the butler.
  4. I'm hoping to order it for lunch to be served in our suite on Equinox.
  5. Yes, and unless they get a lot of negative feedback it will be rolled out to all ships.
  6. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is a QR code in the daily for you to supply your disembarkation information. Please don't shoot the messinger.
  7. You will get the port fees and taxes back as a refund to your credit card. If you purchased any diing packages, excursions, beverage packages, etc they will also be refunded. No refund for the cruise care insurance. If you booked with all inclusive I don't know how that would work if you cancel and use the insurance. I thought you would get 90% back as a FCC but @39augustincicated they got the 90% back as a refund to the credit card. You should call Celebrity with your "what if" questions so you know where you stand if you have to cancel. Best of luck to you and hope everything works out for you.
  8. I think they are getting feedback from guests on board submitting comments or talking to someone in the restaurant or an officer. They have also been getting feedback via phone calls and emails from future guests who have read about these changes or seen them on the app.
  9. Where did you see you need your phone to get a menu? The only reference I saw to phones and QR codes was to scan the code to comment to guest relations while you are on board. You can also do it the old fashioned way and submit a written comment card.
  10. Ours were all in the Caribbean, Jamaica, St Lucia and one other. Reasons for cancelling were vendor issues or lack of sign ups. There was a lot of walking and standing in st Martin. Lunch was at a small sea side restaurant. We stopped at a fish market and had time on our own at the market in the middle of town. About 24 guests but we traveled in 2 small coaches so it didn't seem like too many people. Lasted about 4 to 5 hours plus Dinner in Tuscan. Don't remember the price. We were told US regulations didn't permit the ship to serve the actual food picked out but they bought similar items from approved source.
  11. We did it in st Martin years ago and really enjoyed it. Booked it 3 more times and everyone was canceled for one reason or another. I don't know if it has resumed.
  12. When I spoke with the rep from the executive office today she said that RC had revamped their menus and they were well received for the most part. She also acknowledged that RC and Celebrity have different cruisers with RC being more geared towards families and Celebrity geared towards a more mature, sophisticated cruiser. She acknowledged that the new menus may not work for Celebrity but they are still being evaluated. Feedback is important to them.
  13. I wonder if Joel was working in the Lawn Club Grill on Silhouette or Reflection.
  14. It is a new promotion on some ships. We got one on Edge but nothing on Reflection. Thanks for the good report on Tuscan. We are going to try it again after some disappointing meals there.
  15. I emailed executiveoffice@Celebrity.com and got a phone call today.
  16. Thanks, we are sailing in September and I hope there are some positive changes by then. We are close to Zenith too but may not make it.
  17. Looking forward to your reviews while on the ship, we are on board in September. Did you discover the storage above the bed?
  18. @crusin'k I heard from Celebrity today in response to my email. Since you are on board now you should try to talk to the hotel director, or at least fill out an attention to detail card regarding your thoughts on the menu's and lack of dress code enforcement. Unless I miss read your post though, if this is your first day on board how are you seeing all the menu changes and shorts & flip flops in the main dining room?
  19. I just had a phone call from the executive office in response to my email. Besides boilerplate she did say they are still evaluating and appreciate feedback from guests. They are also taking into consideration guests with dietary needs and how the changes would affect them. She reiterated that feedback is important to them.

  21. Just relax, don't overthink it. Sometimes surprises are good.
  22. I never found a problem with the tubs in a Sky Suite, but maybe it's because I was younger then, not that I think I am old now.😅 I think the problem with the CS is that the tub is a whirlpool so it is higher than the tubs in sky suites. Once you get to the RS you still have a whirl pool tub but a separate shower. A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words. See the bubbles. This was a CS on Summit.
  23. The living area is overpowered by the coffee table. The desk that serves as the vanity is tucked in the living area outside the bedroom and next to the 2nd entrance to the bath. There is very little counter space next to the sink. Getting into the tub shower is a challenge. If I had to choose I would pick a sky suite. There are no additional amenities or perks with a CS. The only advantage would be if there were more than 2 people traveling together.
