  1. Was recently on Jewel for 21 days. The Concierge Lounge on deck 13 near the Vortex Club operated more like a Suites Lounge. Pinnacles were granted access if there were 30 or less onboard (or if staying in a full suite). Otherwise an area was set up for Pinnacles on deck 12 in the evening where the Loyalty Ambassador is located. The Diamond Lounge, also on deck 13, is directly across from the elevators and is very small. Access to both lounges required the room key to open the doors.
  2. Absolutely agree! My passport costed me $10/year (now $13/year I think) and well worth it along with Global Entry (free when using my Chase Visa card!). I want convenience at this stage in life, not hassles whether a document will be valid. On our recent cruise, two situations where one was trying to use the hospital certificate or Baptismal Certificate, never which is considered as an official Birth Certificate. Sadly both were not allowed to board and then caused a small raucous as they didn't want other family or friends, who seemingly had the correct documents to board!
  3. We were on the Jewel TA and Pinnacles did not have access, only full suites. Was told if >30 Pinnacles onboard a specific sailing, then no access. The lounge was about 75% full each evening. The area where the Loyalty Ambassador is located was used for nightly Pinnacle snacks, drinks and socializing. If I remember correctly, there were 47 Pinnacles and only 1120+ total passengers onboard.
  4. Was on Grandeur in Feb/Mar and there is a steam/sauna and you enter via the spa salon. Enjoy!
  5. We always take Amtrak from the DC area to Cape Liberty, but have multiple backup plans and full tank of gas im bith the car and SUV j.i.c. Plus our son loves to drive and is prepared to chauffeur us further than the train station or airport.
  6. This is a screenshot excerpt from multiple RC emails we received prior to our booked Jan/Feb 2022 cruises.
  7. Currently on Oasis for 2nd leg of B2B. Coastal Kitchen hours on embarkation day were 11:30 AM-1:30PM; other days noon-1:30PM
  8. Agree with @BND above! Currently on Oasis 7N Bahamas - got a great rate pre-Covid. Will get off in CocoCay for awhile as we enjoy the private island. Wish RC stayed longer or even overnight in Port Canaveral to make it worthwhile! We did the KSC escorted tour years ago. This is mainly a relaxing 7N cruise followed by the 5N Canada sailing for our first time.
  9. Yes, MSC interports very well and in multiple countries on the same sailing. We did a 9N Spain, France, Italy & Portugal sailing on the new MSC Virtuosa last year, boarded in Barcelona and it was seamless.
  10. Wow, nice itinerary! Curious which ship? Thanks.
