  1. Correct, sadly there are no sauna/ steam facilities now on Voyager. The spa and gym were relocated from the forward bow area to a smaller aft area. New balcony and interior cabins are now where the gym, spa & sauna facilities were.
  2. Except in the bathroom in the Suites! The walls are marble-like, no clothesline in the tub/shower combo and no hooks except the 2 on the door to hang robes. 😞 Definitely need magnetic hooks in the living area as again they're no hooks anywhere.
  3. Yes, we had a full sofa in both sets of cabins on Oasis. The connecting door was on your immediate right/left upon entering the cabin, opposite the bathroom.
  4. Was recently in connecting OV balcony on Oasis and there's one connecting door. Example in: #8694 & 8696 - facing the doors from the hallway, #8694 (my cabin) was on the left and the connecting door opened up into my cabin with the magnet latch on my side of the wall. My girlfriends in #8696 could open the door as there were handles on both sides. Yes you can hear the TV and conversations 'tween both rooms. Ditto for cabins #8574 & 8576. Personally I'd only want this setup if I specifically selected connecting rooms when traveling with hubby or friends!
  5. Suddenly on the last few days, I'm unable to post or reply to Roll Call posts. I get a message saying I "need to clear editor", but no guidance how to do it. Thanks!
  6. On Oasis this past week it was Niagara purified drinking water - the beverage (water) pkg, my welcome amenity and at the bars. Somewhat disappointed it isn't Evian (or another brand's) spring water, at least when I pay for the pkg. And yes, there is a taste difference to me!
  7. There was some prior discussions on this on another thread but I don't recall which one. Perhaps do a "search" and also check the roll call for the Jan 22nd sailing. Hope you find the info you're looking for.
  8. Agree 100%. I find the company and all of their sales literature & invites annoying and avoid them at all cost! You're correct about their location presence on Enchantment, where we sail from 1-2 times a year due to the port's proximity to our home. From a cruiser view, I dislike the fact they monopolize this nice space and window view.
  9. Agree! I'm definitely an organized logistical person and prefer to book dinner and shows while I'm relaxing at home or pass time while watching sports in TV. When I board the ship just want to relax, go to my cabin once open and hang my dressy clothes, put my packing cubes & toiletries away, read my CAS mail & invites, then explore the ship. I try to avoid long lines and folks already complaining about something the minute they board!
  10. Have used SAS many times and quite satisfied. Try contacting them: www.ridesas.com 954-600-0240 Hope this helps.
  11. We had the Thurs night game (on Amazon via ESPN) this week on Voyager as we were cruising back from Greenland! Two Sun 🏈 games plus SNF, MNF, TNF and the WNBA championship game 1 in addition to soccer, golf and tennis on our Arctic Crossing cruise!
  12. Maybe post your inquiry on the Oasis roll call for the current or upcoming next cruise. I'll be on the Oct 2nd sailing but that's 3 weeks from now.
  13. Jayson was the Concierge for our 9N Bermuda sailing on July 28th. He left for vacation the same day we disembarked on Aug 6th. I believe he said he'd be away for two months.
  14. Yes, we do have to pay either daily or get a package for the entire cruise to use the Thermal Suite facilities on the Oasis and Quantum classes. I was inquiring if Voyager still has the sauna and steam room facilities. On some amped ships, they were removed and the gyms relocated. Haven't been on Voyager recently.
  15. Great to hear! Have never visited there. Looking forward to hearing all about your Galveston as we prepare for the 2023 President's cruise.
  16. Good to know as my friend and I will be boarding Voyager in a week. Although I have access to the Concierge/Suite lounge, she's Diamond but we love the VCL and its view!
  17. 07 Jul - applied for our Bermuda TA 13 Jul - mine was approved 15 Jul - husband's was approved 28 Jul - Enchantment cruise - full capacity!
  18. So the Voyager no longer has a sauna or steam room?! I always look forward to these facilities after my gym workout when cruising. Thanks
  19. Staying at the Copenhagen Marriott two nights pre-cruise. I believe one posted it would be better for us to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel and also from the hotel to the cruise pier. Have an idea of estimated costs for two with four bags and carry-on? Any other options as a back-up (i.e, the train to Central Station)? Thanks much!
  20. Did the Jewel TA in late Apr, followed by a 7N full music charter with lots of shows, dancing & tours. Then spent 3N in Amsterdam afterwards doing HOHO Bus, museums, restaurants, etc. Self- tested prior to the last night of the cruise, before our flight home and later twice @ home - both of us had all negative tests!
  21. Thanks for the update and enjoy your cruise and family time with the kids!
  22. πŸ˜† Sadly, have seen this and worse! And this may be the same cruiser who expects the cabin to be "cleaned" twice a day and would remove auto gratuities and/or not tip extra! You know the "me me" type who thinks it's the stateroom attendants job to clean up their mess and clean the cabin. I'd be truly embarrassed. 😳
  23. Thanks for sharing. Was hoping for the opposite so wouldn't have to pack twice as many eMed proctored test kits nor look for testing sites in Europe. If testing was extended to 3 days prior, could test in home area and fly out later the same evening, arrive in Europe the next morning and leisurely spend two days sightseeing.
