  1. Just off B2B sailings on Brilliance. All photos were 8x10 size and priced at $22.95 each. On Odyssey, the week prior and all photos were $24.95 and only 8x10 size offered. Haven't seen the smaller (5x7 or 6x8) port photos in awhile. Maybe special orders.
  2. Yes, we did the Quantum 12N Beijing (Tianjin) - Singapore repositioning in Oct 2019 and it was wonderful! The ports were Fukuoka, Taipei, Hong Kong, Hue Danang, Ho Chi Minh. Would love to do this/similar itinerary again.!
  3. Yes, MSC definitely got it right! You really don't have to leave the Yacht Club area unless going on a tour or departing the ship, both with a Butler escort. Enjoyed a wonderful 20N cruise experience on our Miami-Brazil repositioning sailing!
  4. Yes, I thought it was correct since both cruises are 7N. (Didn't nean to quote "... I'm sure they'll catch it")
  5. @taznremmy Hi Pat, I'm also currently on the Brilliance with my husband. We have the same great TA! My friend Joyce and I sat next to you nightly at dinner on the Voyager Arctic Crossing cruise! We'll be boarding on the LA-Brisbane segment, so will miss you then. My husband and I will be on the last two segments (Copenhagen-Miami) Donna (from MD/Washington DC suburbs)
  6. Ditto for us. We're in a GS for B2B sailings on Navigator in March 2025. The total cost for each cruise is $2658 (incl tax/fees) and the deposit was only $250 pp!
  7. The internet has been great the entire cruise! I've been on my phone and tablet more than usual on a cruise as I had to take care of some legal and medical business for a family member. Was able to do a Zoom meeting and 30-minute conference call with no drops! Only once did I have to re-log into my wifi account since my initial login.
  8. Will be following along. Have always loved your narrative reviews and great photos! Currently on the Brilliance Panama Canal sailing from Ft Lauderdale to LA. Surprised how chilly (59°) it is today in Ensenada. Like you, we did the eastbound PC route about 10 years ago. It was so convenient to sail from San Diego and enjoyed our pre-cruise stay there.
  9. On the Brilliance Panama Canal sailing now... Capt Frank will leave for vacation when we arrive in LA on Apr 17th. Will return on Jun 10th on Explorer to do the Greek Islands & Croatia.
  10. Successfully booked it at $89.99 for the package so we'll see what happens in two weeks!
  11. We're also on the Odyssey 3/25 sailing. Gonna see if it's offered for us.
  12. To compare water pricing against another cruiseline: HAL is charging $37.99 (incl 18% service charge ) for twelve 12-oz cans! That's $3 per 12 oz can. Guests aren't allowed to bring on any plastic bottles of water either at embarkation or at the port. Guest can bring on up to six liters or twelve cans (500 ml or less) per stateroom.
  13. Yes! There are/were plenty of casino promo offerings for Oasis and Quantum class ships - 18N TP (Sydney-Hawaii), 14N Symphony TA (Mar 9th), many other Allure, Oasis, Harmony, Odyssey & Quantum itineraries. Balcony & JS cabins offerings too.
  14. Ditto. @TeearaAlthough we had a good time on the Wonder TA last fall, it'd be fun to finally get that Allure TA checked off as we chatted about it for so long before RC switched ships! 😆
  15. We were on the Jewel TA (Apr 29-May 13) and logged in using our phones and my tablet. Surprisingly we had great connections as I did several Zoom meetings and a memorial service online! We were in a GS right next to the RS - midship. The 2nd leg (a music charter) of the B2B was great for most of us also.
  16. We did the EB transatlantic (Miami- Amsterdam) May 2022 and the internet was good. Honestly don't remember if she had Starlink then, but we had great reception. I used my phone quite often as lots of friends were joining us in Amsterdam for the following chartered sailing and we were coordinating lots of "stuff". Hope service is great for you in Apr!
  17. @itsnowjoke Wonderful news and happy you received a favorable solution! Enjoy the cruise.
  18. Fairmont Hotels in Vancouver: I understand there are three properties and, as stated previously, the Fairmont Pan Pacific and Fairmont Waterfront are across from the cruise terminal. I've been told the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is about 5 blocks away. Just trying to verify proximity and without considering pricing alone, any pros and cons of one other the other? Want to spend 2N there post-cruise to sightsee and hit the "must see" tourist spots for my first visit. Thanks for any insight you can share!
  19. Correct. Wifi is only included as a free perk for those in a GS and above (Royal Suite class) on the Oasis and Quantum class ships
  20. @Galveston Cruiser A related question you may be able to help on. Any suggestions for a shuttle service from IAH to Galveston for pre-cruise hotel stay (Home2Suites on Seawall)? Take Uber or Lyft? Will use RC's transfer for post-cruise transportation and early evening flight. Thanks much!
  21. Yes, good point. I dislike those hangers/plastic holder combos. The reason I put most of our things on lightweight non-slip or slacks hangers from our wonderful cleaners. BTW: Do u remember the Concierge's name on EN?
  22. Ok. I'm not disputing you but just stating our recent B2B experiences on Oasis and Wonder. It's also easy to roll our clothes on hangers with the plastic bags and put them in luggage if it's now required.
  23. Ok. Ditto for us on Oasis in January. Perhaps varies by ship or maybe even what the cabin attendant prefers
  24. Interesting, how recent did you experience this? We just changed cabins on a B2B and left all clothes on the hangers and put our plastic cleaners/store bags on them. Zipped up our packing cubes and put them in our suitcases along with the toiletry bag. Very easy and quick move.
