If you take the O Life Basic beverage package & upgrade onboard you do not get the discounts if you book La Reserve No sure on the purchasing bottles of wine if you will get the discount or not? Just to clarify Are you taking the O Life perk ? If so what one did you choose ?

Always good to try a different line if you are interested in it I would explore the things you like with other lines then see if Oceania would work for your wants & needs or it could be a "one & done" or even a "no go" A couple of things on Oceania that are different from Viking that may be a deciding factor for you they do allow children They do have a casino they do not have "free" wine with meals unless you choose the Beverage package with O life choice No free excursions unless you choose the Excursion option with O Life Choice Only you will know if the line will suit your needs /wants Enjoy what ever cruise you choose

I am fine with A B or C cabins prefer c cabins on the R ships I am not one to sit in the sun or sit on the balcony more than a few minutes Had the extended balcony many years go hardly used it Good we all have choices 😉

On our winter cruises we met a couple that would get on in Florida in Dec then sail back when the headed to UK or Europe in March or Apr We would see them several yrs in a row They enjoyed the warmer Caribbean

I prefer Barristas for the coffee over the machine in the lounge If we get an upgrade to an A cabin I would not turn it down 😉

In the past most of the time we had to line up it was for non US citizens Then they would call names of the US citizens that did not declare their purchases 😉 Then crew were called then disembarkation started Sometimes we did not line up on the ship just zipped through in the port building after getting luggage

or they just want less crowds & do not need to be doing things all day long & like a quieter onboard experience JMO

AFAIK it is NCL's private island all about the beach & water sports so you could just go to the beach check the restaurants then decide if you want to tender back to the ship

Immigration is also for the crew while they are still onboard In the past we have had the officials come on board Non US residents had to do a F2F then crew then people could disembark they probably have stopped doing that now I would plan for 8am but you may be off earlier It depends on the shore side Officials

small ship without the climbing walls/race track etc Most ships if you have a balcony cabin it is pretty peaceful Our preferred line is Oceania but I am sure there are others that would suit your needs
