  1. We also stash them in our pockets but you're only fooling yourself if you think they don't recognize you as being a "tourist". 😅
  2. If you purchase only the evacuation insurance part, it's considerably cheaper.
  3. That hat or similar with a mosquito screen would be perfect for an early Alaska season excursions.
  4. That's who we buy out evacuation insurance through but now I'm wondering if it's sufficient.
  5. Well, relatively quiet compared to the main pool.
  6. Thanks, I'll mention it but I'm sure he's familiar with a leather outfit. I can't get him to throw any of his work clothes out until they're shreds. Maybe I'll buy one for a Christmas surprise. It sure would save a few holes in some of his work jeans plus their located close by. Northern Tool- $12.74 less a veterans' discount of 10%. I'll have to sneak his drivers license out of his wallet & go shopping some day. 😉
  7. Someone just recently commented that they reduced the volume of MUTS to be more reasonable. I really couldn't say as I just rush past the area & never sit there long enough to notice.
  8. There's always the Wake View pool on deck 16 which we find very quiet.
  9. If I didn't patch my husband's work jeans, he would only ruin a pair of good ones every time he works with his welder in the garage.
  10. You must have cruised quite a while ago since they have a new muster procedure which eliminates most of the hassle.
  11. Last trip I was using paper towels to leave notes for the cabin steward.
  12. I wouldn't waste good money on such junk, but if it makes people happy to wear, who really cares? I would just cut them up to save for patches to use on my husbands work jeans.
  13. I haven't yet but I'll almost bet that they'll be overlooked, just as are the shorts. After all, if ripped jeans are actually forbidden, it's easy enough to convert them to shorts on the spot. 🤣
  14. It's a culmination of many reports from various ships since the return from Covid, so there must be some truth to it.
  15. My husband has been wearing T shirts on casual evenings for many years.... going back to when things were much stricter on Princess. He's never has a problem. Today, while shorts may still be turned away on some ships they seem to be quite acceptable on the Enchanted in March. He wore his shorts one casual night & was freezing (near the dance floor) so now he's resorted to his jeans, just to stay comfortable.
  16. Most people do believe that this is the best way to handle the situation. Although a little late to the game, they're now similar to all the other mass market cruise lines. It makes me wonder why they waited as long as they did to make the change.
  17. I think they stopped handing them out at the embarkation desk a while ago. I can't remember the last time we received one. Maybe it a cutback, like the paper & pens in the cabins. 😉
  18. I'd like to know also. It doesn't appear so from what I see right now.
  19. Most people sailing Princess have either scars or something similar. The days of people with legs of 24 year old's are long gone.
  20. Now if they actually had a decent prize for the winners.....
  21. I just googled "day suit" and from what I see it looks like a suit & tie. It'll be fine, but just realize that formal dressing isn't really required any longer unless he really wants to. My husband just wears a pair of Dockers & Polo shirt of even a pair of decent black jeans.
  22. It was popular the time we did it also, but it was free. I believe it was the Regal or Royal. Now that they're charging I wonder how many people will go for it?
