  1. They also over look bringing on plastic bottles of soda which we've done on all our cruises. I hate to open a can for just a sip or two.
  2. If you arrive early in Ft Lauderdale, many times they're not even set up yet. 😉
  3. I didn't think that the photographers might actually have a dress code. 🤪
  4. Since there are no longer any dress standards on any of the Princess ships, it has now become "wear what you like" on any night. Tuxes, suits, gowns, jeans, shorts and even baseball caps. Your free to select whatever you like to please yourself without having to conform to any dress code.
  5. Unless you order a whole pot of coffee, they'll probably spill just a cup by itself.
  6. But they don't know what you ate or how much at dinner unless the waiters are keeping track of it, which I doubt.
  7. In your case it might just be a better option to purchase the Plus package and "share" the internet. 😉
  8. In the past, yes, we have.... but that was only for dessert not another meal. If they actually had to keep track of the people entering the DR's they would also have to keep track of what meals they ate at each sitting. It sounds like a lot of extra work for all involved.
  9. I figured as much.😉
  10. I wonder how they handle the low sodium request at the buffet?
  11. In that case, I'll be going to the DR a second time after the show. 😄
  12. Not that we wear shorts but I'm still happy to hear they haven't denied people from wearing them.
  13. The retreat pool on the Regal does have stairs leading into the pool but just know that there isn't really much of a shallow area. Everyone congregates near the stairs leading into the pool. Shade is at a premium with a perforated overhead around the ships edge on both sides and just filters the sun to some degree. There are a few chairs (not lounges) in total shade on both sides of the ship near the entrance to the area and are usually occupied.
  14. I'm really not sure of the prices but they were cheaper.
  15. True, but when we received those coffee cards I think the specialty coffee's were probably half that price.
  16. As soon as anyone posts that they don't care to dress formally, others immediately chime is with comments like they'll be wearing raggedy T shirts, shorts, baseball hats and such which isn't the case in most instances. Our formal clothing is pretty much the same as on casual evenings, which is not a suite jacket for my husband or heels & cocktail dress for myself. I haven't worn heels in over 40 years, especially on a cruise ship. 😉
  17. You've got that right ! They once shrunk my husbands socks so badly he couldn't even get them on his feet. Never again. We use their blue hand soap and the bathroom sink.
  18. At home, other than a sip of a liqueur occasionally, we aren't big drinkers. Over the years we've brought home numerous little bottles from the setups and they're slowly evaporating. 😄
  19. Officially, that's true but I've yet to read of anyone being turned away for bringing more.
  20. I think I read that all the ships now have converted to the Lavazza coffee.
  21. That was a hard pill to swallow. And when you actually add up the $$, how much did it actually cost them considering that you had to give them back the complete setup in exchange for the 15 cups of coffee. 😒
  22. True, but at the same time increased the prices of their specialty restaurants significantly.
