    Without an audible alert, it's practically useless. We might even go back to using Walkie Talkies next cruise since we won't have internet. It should be very quiet since most people have the package with internet service.

    They use to walk around & check to see if your eyes were shut and tell you to pay attention if they caught you sleeping. 😁

    They used to have true upgrades way back when... Today they imply that bidding for better cabins are upgrades when their really upsells for a price. I suppose their might be a few true upgrades here and there but as long as they can make more money selling them, I doubt they'll give them away any more.

    After that, we removed the Island from our ships to sail on.

    Something tells me that those upgrades, which more appropriately should be called upsells, are cabins that are remaining after all the better ones have been booked. The days of upgrades are long gone.

    We haven seen either of those types of shows since before Covid. They all must have gotten bad reviews.

    That amount can get pretty heavy.

    We've seen it years ago on the Island but after what they did to the ship we prefer any other ship now.

    Or at least some better ones. I'm getting tired of eating 🐔🐔.

    I can remember our 54th trip..... I think they had a xylophone player as the main show. 😁

    We certainly live a different lifestyle. Our main meal at home is around 2:30 to 3 PM and at 9 PM we're ready to go to the buffet for a "midnight" snack.

    Great show but they never seem to position the Coral Princess in my area.

    We never do Club Class and always get the same waiter & table each night. Of course we get there early.

    It's about time they offered a decent cup of coffee without having to pay extra.

    Even though we've only been sailing Royal class ships for the past 11 cruises, we'll be looking forward to returning back to the older production shows this fall. We've seen the newer shows so many times that, as good as they are, we're looking forward to seeing the older ones again.

    They did say that the "gifts" were in addition to cash.

    It's simply amazing what people will pay for. I'm surprised that their still sailing on Princess. 😄

    Maybe they did improve the whole experience after all. I'm still not willing to pay for another go-around.

    At one time until last cruise I thought only the occupants could change the do not disturb and attendant service call, but I found out that I could change it without having my medallion on me. I suppose they didn't take that into consideration when developing the software.

    They'll print something in the Patter similar to this; Regular Shuttle service. Priority Shuttle.

    Yea, I know, but I just couldn't help myself. It's what all the formalists use to tell people who didn't like dressing up on formal nights when things were much stricter. ☺️

    Unfortunately, even if you're not ready to accept it, it's the way things are today. I still would much rather have it more relaxed so I'm not forced to conform to any specific clothing. I just overlook the shorts. You can't see them once seated anyway. You always have the option of eating at a Specialty restaurant where it's more conservative dress.
