  1. Not as a Dinner Theater but Carnival does this as one of their signature activities. I did this years ago. They partnered with Hasboro and did a game called "Get a "CLUE!", a real life version of "CLUE". At the intro, you met all the characters, they set the scene, and you were given a file to keep track of your clues you gathered by going to certain activities. At the end of the week, they had a big reveal and whoever got it got some cool prizes!
  2. If he can walk, he can save the table. My family of 4 never goes up at the same time. Two of us usually go at once, then the other two. That way, we save the table.
  3. I've cruised many times during that season, you should be fine. October is a "shoulder" season, it's almost the end of hurricane season but you still have to contend with winter weather until February or March.
  4. I've cruised both lines, Celebrity is leaos and bounds better than NCL in my opinion.
  5. I haven't been on Edge yet, but normally the shows are available no matter where you get dinner. In some cases, they have 2 showings for the show: one for early seating and one for late. You can go to either one.
  6. My mom works at a hospital where there's an on-site lab. We all test there and get results in less than an hour.
  7. Yes it is! Just an FYI, if you don't have the dining package, you can get breakfast served at Johnny Rockets for FREE as well.
  8. I was there in April out of Bayonne. It took us 2 hours to board, and debark was much smoother. My suggestion: bring a jacket with you in your carry-on luggage! I didn't bring my windbreaker in my carry-on (it was in my checked luggage) and I regretted it!
  9. I'll be there in October, the weather should be fine. I've cruised in that area around that time of year before. Then again, I'm from NE so ANYTHING will feel warmer than being up here!
  10. Nope, they never took my temp on my last cruise!
  11. 1.) You do know that COVID is EVERYWHERE, right? It's not just on ships! Someone in my family caught it ON LAND and tested positive 2 days before we were supposed to board this month. 2.) Like any other cruise line, RC allows you to check-in via the app and it's quite simple. You can also upload your COVID documents and shore excursions right there. How much easier do you want it? 3.) The fiasco with the Quantum ship was beyond anyone's control. 4.) Shore excursions and other refunds take time, no matter which line you choose.
  12. I'd start now, even if its just booking itineraries.
  13. I'm in the same situation. When I was there in April, they had a separate line for the unvaccinated kiddos.
  14. Usually on a 7 or 8 night cruise, there's 2 formal nights. I don't know the exact nights they may be on, but I can tell you which nights they're most likely not on: the first and last nights. On the first night, people are usually tired from traveling and unpacking or don't have their luggage delivered to their room yet, which is why it's typically a casual night. On the last night of the cruise, people are typically packing and are tired from doing that. Some might have packed their formal clothes and set them out early to be collected by the staff for the following day's disembarkation. Hence why, the last night of the cruise is typically a casual night as well. The rest are usually anybody's guess, but they normally tell you about that a day in advance in the Cruise Compass or the app. You can use the app for free using the ship's wifi and it will allow you to view the menus there as well as making any dining reservations.
  15. I ate there for breakfast. I liked it because there were very few crowds there, so you didn't have to wait long in the buffet line. They had the same offerings they had in the Windjammer.
  16. My older sister did the Teen Meet And Greet years ago. It was something like 10PM. A few years later, she did the Meet And Greet out of Rome, which was held at roughly the same time. As it turns out, she ran into a friend she met at the previous Meet And Greet while on the Rome cruise!
  17. I don't know currently, but I do know as of April, Anthem was cruising at around 90% capacity.
  18. Yes, provided they're within the weight limits. On Adventure, I saw plenty of adults in line to ride "The Perfect Storm" slides while I waited my turn.
  19. While in Puerto Rico, you might want to consider downloading an app that has end-to-end encryption to communicate with loved ones while on the cruise. I personally haven't tried it yet, but I hear "Whatsapp" is good and free. Discord is another good alternative. Google will work as well, provided that you're either in the US or Canada. Basically, it means that you can keep in touch with someone while abroad, yet the messages will not be stored by the server.
  20. There's also one at Cocoa Cay. If you go to my bio, I created a video about my last cruise. While the zipline wasn't a focus, I did feature it. I'm doing the sane itinerary in February and Cocoa Cay will be the focus. And yes, I know it's a computer voice, I'm changing that for the next video.
