  1. Oh trust me, I plan on booking a zipline excursion as well!
  2. I was watching my favorite Hallmark movie, "Love At Sea" which was shot on Harmony. They featured a few scenes with the zipline, and I noticed they had what looked like a GoPro type strap on the helmet. That got me thinking: 1.) Do they do that on Oasis (my next cruise, and yes, I'll be riding the zipline MANY times!)? 2.) Do they do that for everyone? 3.) What do they do with the footage after? Curious minds want to know!
  3. Going through this now: I'm supposed to be on Enchantment but someone tested positive 2 days before I was due to leave,, so nobody in the party can go.. Call your TA now and try to place a hold on a cabin 3+ months out. Tell them what's going on. Do an at-home test and immediately isolate. Call your doctor, tell them what's happening and schedule a PCR test. If the test is positive, you'll get a full refund from RC to use on that next cruise you have a hold on.
  4. I know, and I don't take it that way, I actually appreciate it. That's one thing I'm changing for my next video, since I'll have a little more free time.
  5. I'll be able to. I'm going on the same cruise again in February with my co-host (shhhhh....she's getting the cruise for Christmas!). There were some things on the ship I wanted to feature but didn't get a chance to experience. I'm already planning my shots and everything for my Oasis cruise in October. I've been watching all kinds of videos on the weekends to get some information on her, such as layout, attractions, her stats and operations, etc. for some added content. Oh and BTW, my co-host/niece knows about the Oasis cruise: she was supposed to come on my Enchantment cruise this week, but we all had to cancel due to a positive COVID test within the party (not me). Knowing this might happen (the person was symptomatic and did 2 at home tests before the mandatory pre-cruise testing), we told her about a contingency plan: the Oasis cruise. So now, we're running around doing all the paperwork for everyone again in order to travel (most of our packing errands are done now) since we're about 3 months (give or take) out until the Oasis cruise. I'm also on isolation protocols due to being a close contact and have to isolate until Monday.
  6. I posted my first video on my new YouTube channel for cruising! The link to my channel is in my bio in my profile!
  7. I'd purchase it now, especially since the final payment is due.
  8. There's no use in worrying about it now. It's too far on the future, so nobody knows what the protocols will be.
  9. We are currently in the same situation. First, we called the TA to tell them what was going on last weekend (person started showing symptoms, took 2 home tests, and immediately isolated). We placed a hold on a cruise in October as a contingency plan. Tuesday, 2 days before our cruise, we all got PCR'd and our suspicion was confirmed: suspected case turned confirmed. We immediately called our TA, told them the update, canceled our Thursday cruise, and booked the October cruise. Our next step is to get the person recovered and get a COR from RC. RC has been informed, via our TA, and we're getting a refund. Our reservation has been moved to the October cruise. We are all vaccinated and boosted except for 1 9 year old. If more boosters are available by the time we go, we'll take them. In the meantime, if anyone does so much as sneeze near me, I will run so fast in the opposite direction...I do NOT want to miss the October cruise!
  10. We were in the same situation stateside this week. If you booked through a travel agent, call them and they can talk to Royal.
  11. We got the FCC. Knowing that this might happen, we contacted our TA and placed a hold on a cruise for October over the weekend. All we had to do was cancel the current cruise and book the other. Oh and the test came back positive (not me, but someone in the group), so now we can't go on the cruise we had planned this week.
  12. They won't let you on the ship to begin with if your pre-cruise test is positive.
  13. I unfortunately have found myself looking into this position for my cruise this week. You'll get an FCC.
  14. My first YouTube Channel geared towards cruising ALMOST has it's first video DONE! I might have one more snippet to edit, which I can't edit until Tuesday. After that, my video will drop, and I'll be getting some new material for the next video, due out in Fall 2022. My first video features this lovely, "Anthem Of The Seas"
  15. It's very slim, as most religions will actually encourage getting the vaccine. He can try contacting RC, but I doubt his request will be honored. He has to understand that it may not be a choice RC makes either: the CDC may require it, and even if they don't some countries will not let you into the country without the vaccine. If the ship can't dock there, they won't visit there. BTW, this Catholic has gotten the vaccine and didn't waste any time doing so.
  16. I have a hold on a cabin on Oasis. I have a random question: does the ship have one or two ziplines? I'll be happy if it's just one. The zipline itself is an indoor balcony and the zipline goes right by it. You can also see the Aqua Theater from the balcony.
  17. The answer to all of your questions is yes, however, the letter does state that the test needs to be from a doctor's office, and not an at home test. The letter is very specific, so please read it carefully.
  18. Not trying to be rude, but Pfizer, which is the only one that's been given clearance for children, has ALWAYS needed 2 shots for every age group since 2020. That app you had that says they were cleared is wrong.
  19. She's adorable! This was my little girl. Her name was Duchess. She passed away, along with her 2 brothers about 10 years ago. I miss them all everyday. All of them were Pekingeses.
  20. My Ukulele Group and I got to play a concert for my residents! Some of my residents play as well and played with us! Others were brought up from the audience to play other instruments and sing! They loved it so much, they want to have the group back
