  1. Really don't think you will have any problem. We were in a suite and when in Rotterdam - Walk off began at 7:00 AM and as a Suite Guest we were escorted to the Terminal when General Disembarkation began at 7:15. Since we arrived from an EC port there were no customs or immigration formalities. We were using a combination of Subway and Train and were at Schipol Airport before 9:00 AM. We had a 1PM flight to US and our BIL/SIL had a 11:00 AM to Glasgow. We both had plenty of time to check in, security and lots of time to waste.
  2. In the Webinar today --- Laura specifically said many of the wines that had been placed out of the Premium Package had been put back at a price in the Premium Package. She specifically mentioned Decoy.
  3. I would think that it is still in place. Celebrity has a hard policy that crew members are not permitted in a guest's room unless assigned like a babysitter, room attendant etc. I know a crew member that had her parents on board and had to get special approval to visit with them in their room. She said violation is a dismiss-able offense. This rule is place for passenger and crew safety reason -- in the "old" days of course there were incidences of a crew member being lured into a passengers cabin for a liaison and later being charged with rape. Interesting old thread from 2005
  4. Wouldn't hold my breath. I hear from many Zenith's that are fed up and are booking other lines. After being a 23 Guaranteed 5-6 cruises a year in upper suites "Loyal" Celebrity - So far this year I have booked only 1 Celebrity but booked 2 Oceania, 2 Cunard and 1 SilverSea. Once you loose a 100% loyal customer you will never win them back. Laura seemed very concerned when I discussed with her but.... blah ... blah... blah... Nothing has changed that will reverse our decision at this point. We will still sail Celebrity but only by destination (which isn't Caribbean), Length of Cruise, good B2B2B opportunities and of course price and value for money.
  5. Even after contacting CC that I was not receiving Invites to PUP and them saying they had changed settings on my account. Didn't receive the PUP. Funny enough I setup my BIL CC account using an email I control - he now has 10 points. He receives Invites. After hearing Laura say - To our MOST LOYAL members.... Why don't I feel like even a marginally loyal customer? Also noticed all the questions asked were from Elite and Elite+ there wasn't a single question from a Zenith.... I can assure you many have been sent in. I guess us Zenith's aren't of importance to them.
  6. The muster 2.0 is often not available until a couple hours prior to boarding. Not to worry. After on the ship you can watch it on your TV or you phone. Once complete just go to you Muster Station and have you card scanned that you completed your Muster Drill.
  7. It is the same train and same route. The 11:30 may be a charter. The difference usually on their regular trains the Dome Seats "Gold Star" (upstairs) are sold at a premium. Regular seats are Adventure Class
  8. I haven't heard of Celebrity making any adjustments since the end of Covid restart trying to get people back on their ships. When they eliminated cancel for any reason adjustment after final payment were returned to the original policy. There may be opportunities if you find a cabin class at least $1 higher than your room you can upgrade for the difference.
  9. Yes -- So if it opens at midnight you can Logon 5 hours before EDT (7PM) or 8 Hours earlier PDT (4PM) On our recent Sydney sailing we had to deal with both Time and Dateline... Ugh. It opened at 3AM PST which I did not get up for. At 7:00 AM I checked and the first slot was already gone and by noon the second time slot was also gone. That was the fastest I've seen the slots go.
  10. Yes the retreat machines make latte/cappuccino as well as Americana. They are the Pod type machines. You can either order it from a waiter or use the do it yourself station. I have heard different comments about drink packages and the Retreat Sun Deck. I have ordered a drink up there once and was asked for my card (early in the cruise). Similar Zenith's are permitted to use the lounge but not the Sun Deck - go figure. You can always go to the Retreat for every drink buy may pay separately or get a package if you want Premium Water in Luminae or around the ship or wish to get a hand crafted latte/cappuccino at al Bacio Another option may be if you are Elite + your get free Al Bacio and also select drinks at the CC Breakfast.
  11. I initially tried it - it connected to my brokerage account and shows the shares. When I tried to apply even though it shows the shares said I don't have qualifying shares. I send application along with proof by e-mail and received next day.
  12. Even though we always get a Premium Drink Package - Iain enjoys having a drink at night after we return to our room. He finds it a convenience to purchase a Bar Setup. That may be changing because they have recently increased the price by about 60%. Last couple times I was able to purchase it through Gifts for about 30% less than the Bar Setup. As you can guess they eliminated it from the Gifts site. The package includes a 750 Ltr bottle of Premium Liquor and Mixers. Our butler then always tops up the mixers and brings Lemons / Limes daily.
  13. Actually I contacted Celebrity on Twitter --- they went into my account and changed something and now getting communications.
  14. Are they handing out beepers? or do you just have to wait in line?
  15. Linda - There are many reason we decided against YC. We are also not pool people. Just the shear size of the ship is a turn off. I think we area also done with Celebrity E-Class. While Charla seemed to enjoy I was thinking of her tales being escorted across the ship by her butler. On Celebrity we enjoy much of our day outside of the Retreat and have never used the Retreat Sundeck for sunbathing or pool/spa. I don't mean it as a thumbs down but we each enjoy a cruise in a different way. I can only say we will see how it goes on our first Oceania Cruise. We may find they don't fit our future cruise either.
  16. To top it off I got a Pop Up Survey on the Celebrity Site today asking my opinion of their website. I rated it about 1 across the board. At the bottom it had a box to explain your comments, name and e-mail. Guess what--- I couldn't enter anything in the blocks......
  17. Understand your frustration but even as a Double Zenith (over 6,000) points the same happened to me on my Edge Singapore to Sydney... .except my CS at $25,000 dropped to $15,000. There are always opportunities. Check out the prices of higher classifications and see if you can find a deal, as they are also discounted. I was able to upgrade to a RS for only an additional $350. I did loose $800 OBC from booking on board but to me it was worth it.
  18. Celebrity is offering $50-500 NR OBC for booking on the ship depending on room type and length of cruise - to get max you need a 16+ day cruise which they have almost totally eliminated. My TA is still offering OBC for either a booking or a transfer. Runs in the range of 9-10% refundable depending on cruiseline.
  19. LOL-- I thought you were being humorous... Like you have all the time in the world.
  20. Like other would suggest you check with each country. I assume if the cruise qualifies as a Closed Loop you don't officially need a passport except if you for some reason had to leave the ship and fly home in which case the 6 month doesn't apply. Just make sure all your ports are open for closed loop.
  21. Maybe they should use AI. Actually sounds much better
  22. Hmmm.. Just received this e-mail - flogging Cruise Protection -
  23. Surprisingly on our cruises the decks were bustling with people while sailing through the Fjords. Also many out walking the track. Retreat had a Hot Chocolate Social at the Retreat Sun Deck. It was actually packed. Like any other TA, TP or longer cruises there are many things scheduled for every 50 minute period -- Guest Speakers, Trivia, Wine Tasting, etc etc.
  24. LOL - Ya mean that's not a Cleric? I've been on cruises with both a Catholic Easter Services as well as cruises that had Passover services. I don't believe Celebrity now give clerics comp rooms as they once did. Not sure who performed the services they had on the ships I've been on.
