None of the 4 adults of our group of 7 travellers who sailed on the Ventura, which disembarked into Southampton on the 29th October, have received a post cruise survey. Is this the norm now?
I’m currently on the Ventura and shock/horror… baseball caps in the Bay Tree Restaurant even on the Gala night 🤦♂️ I must say that they weren’t worn back to front though 😉
I’m on the Ventura next week and we received an email warning us in advance of staffing issues and longer waits for service in some bars etc. It’s half term so I guess it’s going to pretty busy on board 😳
I’m glad someone else agrees that at certain times you can find yourself sat in the CC dining area, as we often were. I don’t think any one believed me 🤦♂️
In the UK there is no vaccination card so I guess this is a non UK thing? If this is your ‘home’ record of vaccination then YES they do check and a real form of evidence is required such as paper or accepted QR code etc.
The point I made earlier seems to be being missed 👆
On the Sky Princess this September my stateroom steward informed me they are now salaried so passengers not tipping now makes no difference to their earnings 🤷♂️
Why can’t you just print off your certificate and then you have it for forwarding a copy for each and every future cruise 🤷♂️
No faff whatsoever and also a copy for your own records…
My recent experience:
Recently travelled on the Sky Princess and had a good reason to remove the Crew Appreciation and therefore tipped as ‘I went along’. Upon giving my stateroom attendant a $100 so that they wouldn’t ‘lose out’ I was informed that as they’re now salaried it didn’t make any difference on a personal level 🤷♂️
Go into the ‘transaction’ section of your account and you’ll see the proof of the purchase. Print this off and you can use this as your proof. I do this all the time with no issues. If you can’t do it come back to me….
I bought Princess shares in April 22 for a September 22 cruise and sent off my request for the extra OBC a few days after the purchase. This was rejected as I had to wait 3 months 🤷♂️
I appealed the decision and was very sternly told again that 3 months was the rule. Strange because I read of others getting it straightaway 🤔
I reapplied in August and it was sorted very quickly.
