Thanks for your summary! I suppose you know that the payment terms for US Viking guests are not so attractive! We are looking forward to our first Viking Ocean cruise next month, following which I will post my own reflections.

I will be on Viking for a Panama Canal cruise during the rainy season, so both hot and likely to have rain. It will be interesting to see how they handle It. Looking forward to comparing experiences, but we both think that Azamara will always be our first choice.

Neither. I went cave tubing in Belize years ago on a land trip, so opted out this time. It’s probably available as a private excursion though

Don’t worry. They will find you space. But it is wise to head to the reservation table (usually outside of Windows Cafe) soon after boarding).

You CANNOT book before you board! You can purchase the package, but have to wait until you board to reserve the tables.
