Possibly, what the OP was getting at was why were we supposed to believe that there were “free” nights in this supposed sale? Or where were they, since the price hadn’t changed or had actually gone up? That’s why I don’t really pay attention to the wording of the so-called “sales”, just look at the bottom line.

My TA collects at 120 too, to make sure the cc is in order, but I think the cruise line deadline is 90.

Check my signature. But I think it is SOP for most cruise lines to collect final payment about 90 days out from sailing. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

A couple of months ago, it was a nightmare for my TA, but he seems to have made my recent booking with no problems. I just told him the category and position on the deck I was looking for and he came up with a quote and a cabin I was happy with.

I just booked an August 2025 cruise on a competing small ship line, because of the attractive itinerary. Final payment is due in April of that year. No way I would make final payment as far in advance as V would likely demand for a similar cruise.

So, are you saying that if you pay for excursions and then miss ports, Viking does not compensate??

@Dr H, just my opinion, but I wouldn’t wait to book this cruise. It’s a great (new) itinerary, and I’ll bet it will sell fast. Besides, I would love to meet you! 😉
