  1. It actually is not bad and many times you look around and wonder where everyone is. Some ships are set up so well (RCCL Oasis class) that there are only certain times that it feels very crowded.
  2. Knock on wood I think so. None of us in my house got it either. They were vaccinated and I was not until recently for a cruise.
  3. So funny as I watched a video of it and I was like, I NEED to be there lol
  4. Right? I would love to be a fly on the wall for that. Wow, just wow.
  5. Ahhh ok. I was the total opposite since May of 2020 and as far as I know (tested for work and unvaccinated) didn't get covid either.
  6. Do you do the same at home? Never go out to eat or socialize with others?
  7. Our last cruise we asked to sit with others. Went the first night and never again. Not that we are not social as we are and other cruises we have sat with others and had no problem and enjoyed every night. We just had nothing in common with these other people. Some were older and many just very quiet and didn't socialize. To me, that is not the point of sitting with others and you should ask to sit alone then.
  8. Let us know as I have thought of it as an option 🙂
  9. We have had CP window and balconies and love it. Boardwalk is much noisier all day and night with all the activity going on.
  10. What is the latest you can proctor as we will need to do on a Friday and we all will be working that day and won't be home?
  11. You don't need a booster to cruise on most ships. I haven't even uploaded my kids vaccination records yet and we are checked in.
  12. My oldest has been exposed many times, tested a zillion times and barely even quarantined in the beginning of it all, never got it as far as she knows. She will be going away before our cruise and would never go for the quarantine bit and my younger one has to work so that is a no go too lol.
  13. Yes, because all older people cared about others before this pandemic as much as they do now. 🤥
  14. Many of us have been exposed many times, some not even knowing they were and were fine. If someone is really concerned at this point, they need to not travel then.
  15. Back then they didn't know how to treat it. Now they do and for most (not all of course) it is a cold or symptoms like the flu. You only have to quarantine for 5 days and many feel fine by that time anyway.
  16. Ahh ok. That is actually better as my husband wants to be in the casino the first night so didn't want to have to plan it around gambling lol
  17. Exactly. Less talk, less testing, treat like a normal virus.
  18. This must be an older crowd as I got yelled at by my kids (teen, young adult) when I mentioned a co-worker who has covid to stop talking about covid. They HATE that people are even still talking about it.
  19. Just like every other virus that is around so you just need to be careful if you are immune compromised. The one person I know who has covid right now wears a mask all the time around people.
  20. My insurance charges $100 now for any test 😞
  21. Do they still have the Aquashow on the first night as I just saw a schedule and it looked like they don't have it until the 3rd night?
