It may, but as Geoff Arxcards said, even Elites were not given priority on 20 Oct. It appears some of the staff at OPT doors do not know the Princess boarding policies for the top echelon of Princess Captains Circle.

It would be the same bloke who sang a couple of songs at the Grapevine wine tasting in September. He was good and so was the wine π· lol. -
I applied for my Commonwealth Seniors Healthcare Card this morning, takes about 10 minutes on the Centrelink site. They want to know a bit and also require documentary evidence of income, so I scanned and uploaded the letter from State Super re super pension increase recently, due to CPI. If that is not good enough I will have to get onto State Super for something better to keep Centrelink happy.

No you are not the only one, lol...I don't have the smart phone, I used the online version and it would not take some of my details, so day of boarding Coral on 13 Sept, I was not in Green lane. I turned up at OPT @ 10.30am, they opened the priority lane at 10.45am, I went to a table with a lady, showed her my vacc certs, cruise booking confirmation and told her I had a neg rat. She gave me a card to get my medallion, got that at the checkin counter, they said I was first on the ship lol, went through security and was in my cabin at 11am. I was first in the Horizon Court Buffet @ 11.30am lol. A breeze. I only used the medallion to get on/off the ship, buy drinks, I just called a waiter over, no problem and to open cabin door. Best of luck with your embarkation.

Totally agree, been on her 3 times, Alaska, Panama Canal and in September locally. Thank goodness they did not butcher her for the sake of a few extra cabins like they did to her sister Island Princess. Been on her too post butchering, Universe Lounge gone, aft viewing areas gone, walk prom deck gone, tragic. -
Had the CT scan, not an enclosed barrel but like a big ring with a big hole, not too bad. But they could not do the job properly, they would not/could not put the clarity dye in me because of my poor kidney condition of 27% efficiency. The kidneys have to be able to flush out the dye after CT, otherwise the dye will eventually poison/kill you . So did not get all the good images. Ah well will see what the doctors say in a week or two. I am not feeling real well. If I was given a free ticket on a cruise ship today I would turn it down, too crook.

If you are Elite you can get priority check in early, otherwise I suppose you need to stick to your given time.

Brilliant review Geoff. It will certainly assist others in deciding whether or not Majestic Princess is for them. From your comments I would rate your experience as a 7/10. I have been on Royal Princess in UK so I can relate to some of your comments. Again, well compiled Mate.π -

At the moment there is ship is at tier 3. But as for November 10, you will have to wait and see. But you are sensible wearing masks. π· Enjoy your cruise. -
Yes Cunard and P&O UK, been on both. They are trying to maintain tradition.

Thanks for that, don't worry, this little black duck will be on the puter Friday the 4th bashing out his application for the CSHCC. With the changes I am under the threshold. I was up early this morning had brekkie at 5am as I have a big CT Scan of upper body, all organs etc. Or is it Cat Scan? at 10am. 4 hr fast required. Been in those barrels before, not nice.

Formal night attire on Carnival and Princess
NSWP replied to korky1's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Re formal wear on formal nights. As I have said before, Princess suggests tuxedos/dark suit, but if they are not going to enforce it, get rid of formal nights and the dress codes. -

So if there are 300 in iso, the mdr has to give the other 1700 pax the option of dining. Sure some go to the HC. The 2 dining rooms on Coral, Bordeaux and Provence are not huge and only 1 is currently open. -
