  1. That would be really nice if they did as I would definitely make use of that as well. Have you tried using UR Comped or any of the casino specific travel agencies out there?
  2. thank you for taking time out from your cruise to answer! We are sailing on Sept 30 - can't wait to get back on Scarlet Lady again! P.S. Are there any Buffalo machines in the casino?
  3. Wow that has to be causing some hair to be pulled out on board with no gambling! For those guests that already had cash, could they still gamble or was the casino closed entirely? Being that you are on a comped cruise, do you get a tassle on your seaband to signify you are entitled to free drinks? Ive read online that players get different color tassles - do you know what the different colors signify? Wondering if they now track your play as when we sailed in February they didn't seem to which we thought was kind of strange. Have a fabulous cruise!
  4. Lucky you! I keep checking my email too but all I keep getting is sailings on the Infinity which doesn't appeal to me. Pacific Coastal is such a nice itinerary
  5. @pofflesand @CTSandy - did you receive your offers via email or regular mail? We are actually booked on Solstice in December - so nice to only have a 1 hour flight or a 5 hour drive. I hope we get that offer too - maybe we could do a B2B
  6. Add us too! I would be on that ship all the time - we hate flying to Florida from Vegas. It sure seems like L.A. would fit their target market perfectly too
  7. I received the same offer = wish I could get one for a sailing leaving from the West Coast but will take what I can get 🙂
  8. Its funny after I read the OP's post I checked and my last offer was in March and since then I have sailed once on Apex and crossed from Amethyst to Sapphire. So then I called to see if any offers were available and she said no but i could get a balcony cabin based on play. Not 20 mins later I got an email offer from Blue Chip but its only for Infinity sailings which I am not interested in. I wonder if that call generated the offer. I sure wish they were more proactive - I get a ton of Princess offers but have no interest in sailing with them again. I have never received a flyer from BCC or an onboard offer - only emailed ones. It seems so random!
  9. The prices for Mega RS now are crazy!!! We are booked Nov 17-27 and ours too has gone up $2k since a week ago when we booked! PS we did a gorgeous suite too - was amazing!
  10. Just on the phone with Virgin and the guy mentioned he heard they are extending the Share the Love offer for a couple weeks 🙂
  11. Hi @SNL4We just booked however we saw your code too late - if you are interested in exchanging booking codes/names we can still link our sailings so we both get the $200. My email is jh4566 at yahoo dot ca
  12. I stayed at the same hotel our last cruise from FLL but had no idea they had this room type - I will definitely check that out next time we stay - especially mid-week. Thank you for the tip!
  13. @Virgin VoyagesI called Virgin on Monday June 13 and waited on hold for 3.25 hours - finally spoke to a pleasant and capable person who answered all my questions and said she would officially cancel our Jan 7/23 Resilient booking so that we could rebook. (we weren't sure at the time which sailing we wanted to do). But now 5 days later, it is still not showing as cancelled on my dashboard. I want to be able to use our FVC to rebook as Mega RS again and now those voyages are booked up. We weren't eligible for the 200% FVC since our booking was made using FVC from a previous Valiant Lady voyage that VV also cancelled on us. I can't seem to use the generic form to do this online as there is doesn't appear to be an option for this? Any ideas how to proceed other than sitting on hold for hours again? I have used twitter who sent me the generic form which doesn't really help as we don't know which voyage to book at the moment.
  14. LOL Oh my you may have created a monster haha. Maybe her ire will be assuaged knowing you won't have access to the Retreat on this sailing as a "lowly" concierge class passenger.
  15. Have a fabulous cruise! How is your mini-me dealing with being left out this time haha
  16. Hi @jason1022Can you please post if you were successful in your bid for the massive suite? Wishing you a fantastic cruise 🙂
  17. I am having the same issue as Im sure many many people are. It is just so disappointing that a company I loved sailing with is so woefully unprepared to handle this cancellation. This same thing happened to us last year - we had 3 saliings on Valiant booked and they cancelled them all. At that time even thought we could have chosen the 200% Future credit, I chose to get a refund as I had zero faith that Virgin Voyages would still be in existence. Now again we are in the same predicament only our sailing was booked with a future cruise credit so even though we have been cancelled numerous times, we effectively get zero compensation. ( I can't confirm this though as of course I can't speak to anyone at Virgin to confirm) Not sure what to think now... we need to create a support group for cancelled Virgin Voyages sailors haha
  18. This is a great idea - thank you for doing this! Can you please update my listing for the Sept 30 cruise as we changed cabins and the link you have on there is for the old one and doesn't work anymore. The new correct link is https://virg.in/ow2s. I am trying to get the proper link from Virgin for the other 2 and will update soon
  19. We will be getting on the ship when you get off in Singapore or we would take you up on this! Sure you don't want to B2B on to Sydney? 😉 This Sail with Friends is a great deal!
  20. I am not sure of the answer to the question but we always pack some of our fave beverage in rum runner flasks and have never had a problem. You can get them on Amazon. We still pay for drink packages but its nice to have the alcohol you want readily available in your cabin.
  21. Thank you for posting your live report. As someone who has another 4 months to wait to sail VV again it keeps me going! I hope your transition back to work today goes smoothly 🙂 One thing I was wondering - I follow a guy on twitter that does budget trips to Las Vegas - he is very entertaining and his followers have started sending him money to gamble with while he is there as a thank you. I know you don't gamble but you certainly enjoy nice beverages so maybe you could do the same thing? I would definitely chip in for a margarita or two! Just a thought! Then we could "be there" with you in spirit haha
  22. Aren't we all just big kids at heart? 😉
  23. Hello! Also from Las Vegas 🙂 I personally love that the suites have actual King size beds rather than two singles that join up to make a quasi-king. I sailed once with a friend on Celebrity in a shared cabin and wow those single beds were so narrow it was ridiculously uncomfortable - worse than a dorm room single bed! I would much rather share a legit king if I had to but that is just me
  24. Its always interesting to hear other people's points of view and even though yours didn't match our experience onboard I can definitely understand and appreciate your perspective. I am just thankful that there are so many options in cruising for everyone and also look forward to watching VV grow into the cruise line they want to be. Cheers!
  25. yes we are paid in full and got it to work today 🙂
