A group of 120 or so did a cruise this month on Equinox. 50 of them got covid when returning home, so yes Covid still exists. Just cruise prepared and know it can happen. Glad it all worked out for you.

No reservations needed just show up.

The steakhouse was good but the evening dining room was not good. We were with another couple and they agreed.

We sailed Wonder of the Seas and won't go back to Royal ships. Food was cold and tasteless. If on our Beyond cruise there are issues we are done!

I agree...We have Beyond booked for November in a verandah and if the dining room food stinks we maybe canceling future cruises!

I agree but it has come to that, at least for now. I just hope cruisers do the survey they get emailed to them at the end of the cruise. Celebrity does pay attention to them! It's the best way to show any issues with food, service, entertainment, etc.

We had friends that had to cancel and we were linked. Didn't bother our account at all.

You should read reviews as this ship hasn't been redone in along time.

Cruise with low expectations and hopefully all will be ok.

Friends just sailed Equinox and said the cruise was ok but the ship really needs to be redone. It has not had a drydock in a long time.

Totally agree. We love dressing nice for dinner. If no dress code for guests then why not just put in picnic tables and eat off paper plates!

What's not to like! We love it all. Food, service etc. Don't be afraid to ask your butler for anything. Mine even got my shoe fixed!

True, however they mentioned Hawaii next September. I had booked that cruise awhile ago and it's already $2000 more.

We like the sky suites on the magic carpet. There are 4 in a row and the end ones have a side window.

We have done sky suites about 5 times in 9 months. Received email twice pre cruise. Nothing after that.

The problem with waiting is everyday the chance of the cruise price going up isn't worth it. The early bird usually gets the better rate.

So send her to the spa. Why not spend $$ on yourself, you deserve it. Go and enjoy it. She may find it fascinating also.

2 couples who travel together....Our hubby's wanted to do it years ago. Us women weren't so keen on. We went and we all loved it. So no it's not just a guy thing.

Many years ago we were talking to a crew member who was pretty high up the chain of command. (I am not naming title or name) We asked if Royal paid any attention to Cruise Critic. The reply was ABSOLUTELY! This conversation took place at the Captain's dinner we had been invited to. We have enjoyed many cruises with Royal and Celebrity but over the past 30 years things have changed. Until we feel the cost of a cruise is definitely not worth the $ we will keep on sailing.

So true. When celebrity came out with IV balconies the reviews were Nasty as many didn't like them. We almost canceled our cruise because of it. However we took the cruise and loved it. So I have learned to take what others write with a grain of salt.
