What's not to like! We love it all. Food, service etc. Don't be afraid to ask your butler for anything. Mine even got my shoe fixed!

True, however they mentioned Hawaii next September. I had booked that cruise awhile ago and it's already $2000 more.

We like the sky suites on the magic carpet. There are 4 in a row and the end ones have a side window.

We have done sky suites about 5 times in 9 months. Received email twice pre cruise. Nothing after that.

The problem with waiting is everyday the chance of the cruise price going up isn't worth it. The early bird usually gets the better rate.

So send her to the spa. Why not spend $$ on yourself, you deserve it. Go and enjoy it. She may find it fascinating also.

2 couples who travel together....Our hubby's wanted to do it years ago. Us women weren't so keen on. We went and we all loved it. So no it's not just a guy thing.

Many years ago we were talking to a crew member who was pretty high up the chain of command. (I am not naming title or name) We asked if Royal paid any attention to Cruise Critic. The reply was ABSOLUTELY! This conversation took place at the Captain's dinner we had been invited to. We have enjoyed many cruises with Royal and Celebrity but over the past 30 years things have changed. Until we feel the cost of a cruise is definitely not worth the $ we will keep on sailing.

So true. When celebrity came out with IV balconies the reviews were Nasty as many didn't like them. We almost canceled our cruise because of it. However we took the cruise and loved it. So I have learned to take what others write with a grain of salt.

We have done 5 celebrity cruises within the past year and loved them all. November we are back on Beyond and we hope it's as good as last time!

We agree the shows are nice, we have sailed all the O class. However it was the food, and how crowded the ship was that did us in. Luckily not many rug rats onboard.

Food is better, less kids, quiet areas to enjoy. We stopped sailing on RC a while ago. On a whim we did Wonder of the Seas last month and said, ok we are done with them. Food was the biggest issue, tasteless, cold, lack of choices on WOS. We will stay with Celebrity.

I agree as we have had to utilize medical on a ship before and the care was excellent!

Yes we get them from our bank. It's a nice amount to give a bartender when ordering drinks.

I never trust a ship to have meds I may need so I always take what we may need.

We almost always tip extra during the cruise. We take small bills, $1, 2, 5 and we hand out tips when we feel service has been great. (We also prepay our tips.) So you may never see us tip as we don't use envelopes.

The best thing to do IMO is when cruising, return food that does not meet your expectation. Also do the survey at the end of the cruise and be honest. Maybe they will get the message!

We usually do at least one restaurant, however it just doesn't seem right that after paying the high price for a cruise I also have to pay extra for a warm, edible meal!

We did Beyond Nov 2022 in a suite and ate almost all of our meals in Luminae and loved it. Did Apex in March 2023 in a suite and same, loved it. We did Wonder of seas in April. In a balcony and no more big ships for us. Food was not good! We are doing Beyond in November Concierge stateroom. If food is as bad as some say we will be done! We also have Ascent booked for next year, will be interesting to see what we experience.
