  5. You have to watch them all the time. Also when on a ship keep track of your purchases and check your account daily.

  7. "If your booking meets certain requirements " is how they get around that. Sorry but this is nothing new. However a good reminder to everyone, some things aren't always what they seem!
  8. If she booked with a Travel agent just call them. If not then you or she can get the answers you need by calling the cruise line. That way hopefully you will get the correct answer. Sorry you are all going through this.
  9. A good reason for us to Not book short cruises! Which we don't do.
  10. Unfortunately being able to afford a expensive cruise doesn't mean they will have better manners. We have experienced that first hand! 😩

  12. They are changing things daily. No it's not normal but probably a new rule they made up. Many changes are happening at Celebrity and not for the better
  13. Good question and one of my biggest fears is that they will cut that also. I wouldn't be surprised if they do away with it all together. At the very least i think they will continue to cut some of the member benefits.
  14. We sailed on Royal for years, got to the time in our life whereas we wanted less kids and more elegance, better food, quieter atmosphere. Celebrity fit us perfectly. Now they want to change that, which has made us very sad. So now we feel like our ship has sunk, and we will have to swim upstream to find a replacement. We haven't been able to cruise for the past 6 months because hubby's health issues. However we will sail Beyond (2nd time) in November. I will be the one walking around with a clipboard taking notes! Price and Food is at the top of our list. Luckily I booked this last year. Time will tell if we jump ship to another cruiseline.
  15. There were lots of questions regarding what we like to do when cruising. How many cruises, who have we cruised with, (which cruise lines). Maybe someone who hasn't done it yet can take screen shots of it. It took a good 5 to 10 minutes to do.
  16. I even use it at home. It also can be purchased in a travel size. So check the travel section of your stores.

  19. No they will take it. I use Downey wrinkle release spray. Works great.
  20. FYI...I just got a email from Celebrity with a lengthy questionnaire. Asked all kinds of things like what cruises do you take, like, etc.
  21. Wow that doesn't sound right, need to find out if any preplanned cruises that were AI now doesn't include the tips. I am going to look at mine. I have my TA looking into it.
