  1. There is also a tour called the Pristine Sistine where you are in the Sistine Chapel at 7:00am before the crowds. You then have breakfast in the Pinecone Courtyard and do the rest of the Vatican Museums. And did you know you can climb St. Peter's Dome??
  2. We are booked on our first HAL next year and can't wait to experience a CRUISE again. We are definitely fans of the smaller ships. Our first HAL cruise, since cancelled, was on the Volendam in on of the Lanai cabins. We plan on trying that again at some time.
  3. To be honest, I'm going to be SO thrilled to be back onboard after all the cancelled cruises that I don't care what class of ship it is. 🙂 Just give me Crooners and Vines and I'm good. Oh and the still-warm chocolate chip cookies, Oh, and the Fettucine Alfredo. Oh, and....I could go on. LOL
  4. Many thanks to all replies. Guess I'll be using it then. 🙂
  5. We had to use ArriveCan in April...full disclosure, I'm Canadian...and I found it easy to use. 🙂
  6. I've been hearing a bit about this but it seems limited to certain airlines and cruise lines at the moment. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has used it and their experience using it.
  7. We are on the Regal for the Transatlantic in November. It will be our first cruise on the Royal class ships. Looking forward to hearing your reviews. Have a great cruise.
  8. Oh dear...I didn't realize both posts worked. One never showed. 🙄
  9. We are on the Regal for the Transatlantic in November. Thanks so much for the pictures.
  10. We are on the Regal in November for the Transatlantic. Your pictures are making me want to be there NOW!!! LOL
  11. I am laughing so hard right now my co-workers are wondering what's going on. I'm going to get some popcorn and settle in for a rip roaring ride.
  12. I didn't think it was worth it. Then I did a spreadsheet, yes I do that 😉 LOL, and to my surprise on longer trips it is very worth it.
  13. Following with interest. We have this booked next year.
  14. There is always the bus....or walking. LOL 😉
  15. Thanks to all for the answers. Cab it is!!
  16. I did a search but didn't find anything recent. Can anyone please tell me the cost of the Princess transfer from the port to the Fort Lauderdale airport. Is it worth it or would a cab be better. We normally fly out of Miami so we always get the transfer.
  17. We are attempting DIY of Gibraltar. Please feel free to comment or suggest changes. Book the Nature Reserve ticket ahead of time to lessen time in the queue at the cable cars; Take cab from ship to cable cars as early as possible; At the top, have breakfast at the restaurant; optional Leisurely walk to the WW II tunnels for the tour - No.#1 reason for going up Walk down from the Moorish Castle and then walk and shop our way back to the ship. One other question: can we bypass all of the above and just take a taxi up to the WWII tunnels from the ship without a tour.
  18. We did a TA in 2011 and found the seas to be somewhat lively. One of the others on the roll call insisted that it was very smooth. We decided to have a martini and call it a draw. It really depends on the person. 😉
