  1. Well, crud, they told us it was the new menu. Never having eaten at Canaletto before, we believed them. 😪 but we also had been told the old menu was very seafood-heavy and we didn't see much on it.
  2. The menu we had Eorodam April 29 - May 6 had the daily specials on the left. Chick Parm was Sun. Smalls in center, large on right. Here's the left side of the menu.
  3. When presented w/the slip, if I didn't want to sign it, I just slid it back over. Never got a "look" or any pushback. Sign, don't sign - hasn't been an issue for me on Kon, NA, NS or Euro. If signing becomes mandatory, I'll sign; as long as it's optional, I'll likely not.
  4. When I asked about sending comments while still onoard, I was also directed to use the App. This was on Eurodam April/May. I agree the box shouldn't be out if it's not going to be used, but we probably need to use the App...

  6. Not able to provide, but would like to know where they found the info when someone does post. I always call and ask, so you can do that, but would love to be able to just look it up and be spared the hold time. Personally, I like deck 5 for proximity to MDR but prefer to be more centered on the aft, so 6214 is better for that. Tough choice, but think they're both good. Safe travels, enjoy your cruise!

  10. Thanks @Dreamscaper and sorry for your experience and frustration. while I'm familiar w/Guarantees, I haven't seen them as the only option. I have always had the choice between selecting a specific cabin or letting Princess assign as a Guarantee. Perhaps the ship is near capacity so that was all they were offering. Just a thought. Again, sorry your experience is not off to a good start. I hope you get it straightened out and have a fabulous cruise. FWIW, we love the aft cabins - the wake views are amazing and we've been blessed to some pretty incredible wildlife shows. Safe travels and do let us know the final outcome - a lot of people here are rooting for you!

  14. It was May a couple years ago. But still May. I think there's just more ice still present in May than later in the season. We only go May and Sept, so I have no experience w/TAF during peak summer months.

  20. Has there actually been an overnight at HMC? If Feb our stop got canceled due to wind, so we could only wave at her and the weebly wobbly tender that was trying its best... but it was scheduled for just a half day, so not really relevant to the overnight question, lol, just me being reminded of the beautiful sandy beach I missed. 😪🤧
  21. HMC is a private island owned by HAL/CCL and not a "regular" port city likely allowing them to operate differently when anchored there.

I'm not a hugger, but will do it when situation calls for it, lol, so no offense if you want to delete them, lol. 🤗🤷🫂 hugging emojis are limited on my phone - this was the best I could find.   23. You stated she was given a Mariner number after she installed Navigator App - it may have created a new profile for her thus being a different number than the Mariner #on the booking. That is easily remedied by a call (or email) to have the profiles merged under the correct Mariner number. That happened to DH last month on our Eurodam AK cruise and he's 3*. If you can see her on your Navigator, which you should be able to, she won't really need it until she's on the ship. They can fix it and get her in once she's onboard. You will see 2 dots/circles/bubbles on the boarding pass screen on Navigator - 1 will have your info, swipe to the other for her info. We always use just 1 phone for boarding passes, so 1 always stays packed away. Same for excursions, BTW. Good luck, safe travels, enjoy your cruise!
