  1. Carbo-Dazzle Nutella stuffed french toast with roasted banana, whipped cream, maple syrup, choice of: bacon, bangers, & smoked salmon Is room service the only way to get the Nutella French Toast ? Or is it served other places as well ? Have you tried this, how was it ? French Toast is by far my favorite, over waffles or pancakes. Plus, Nutella yummm and roasted bananas ! (french toast tip for at home over the holidays: make it with eggnog & eggs instead of milk & eggs, you can even add a little cinnamon and nutmeg and/or pumpkin pie spice) COFFEE : if we order the complimentary coffee from room service, is it one cup, or does it come in a carafe ? If in a carafe, approx how many cups in the carafe ? (yes I know about the $5 delivery fee being waived if you purchase an item on your order)
  2. Hi, first time ever on Royal, first post ever on the Royal boards. Have a couple questions . . . I received an offer for an Oceanview Balcony thru the Casino Royale Offer Match Program. I submitted my casino status from another casino and got approved for the offer. The offer actually just reads "balcony" but when I asked, they verbally told me it's an oceanview balcony. I have an email into Royal, but they have not responded yet. Plus CC typically has the correct answers, no guarantee the CSR you get that works for the company will give the correct answer. Call 5 times, get 5 different answers. haha ! 1. What is the cancellation policy for Casino offers ? I am paying taxes & port fees only. There was only one cruise on the list of options that sorta worked for us, and we're not sure we'll be able to get away. However, there's a deadline to book under this offer, so we have to book before we will have a definitive answer that we can actually go on those dates. If I had to cancel, would I get a full refund of taxes & port fees ? At what date deadlines (if any) ? Any specific way to cancel in order to get a full refund ? 2. We are looking to book a cabin on one of the Oasis class ships. As far as I can tell, the balcony cabin categories from least to most expensive are Boardwalk, Central Park, Oceanview balcony, Larger balcony, then Suites. Has anyone ever gotten an offer, picked a "downgraded" cabin, and gotten any Freeplay instead for the difference or a partial amount of the difference i.e. requested this and been approved (or requested and been denied) ? For example, Oceanview balcony regular fare would be $3014 vs $2314 for Boardwalk balcony, or $1834 for Interior. 3. Far Aft Boardwalk balconies on Oasis class ... I'm thinking get a cabin near the end/opening and I might be able to watch Aqua Theater from our balcony as well as get a partial view of the ocean, or look the other direction and have a boardwalk view/people watch. Is this a good plan ? How high or low should I try to get ? How close to the end do I need to be ? Any tips ? Any specific cabins to pick or avoid ? I think we would be fine with a boardwalk over an ocean balcony, as we typically spend very little time on our balcony anyway, so in recent years we've actually started getting porthole cabins (bonus: porthole cabins can be much darker than balcony so we sleep better/later). 4. Is Oasis class what we even should be booking ? We've never been on a ship like this which is why we picked this class. Is there another Royal class that is better in your opinion ? (i.e. Quantum or Quantum Ultra, etc) The only dates that sorta work for us on an Oasis class ship are on HARMONY, so that's the ship we would be booking. We do have other dates that might work as well, they wouldn't be on Oasis class, but I haven't determined specifically which ships/class. edit: 5. Any other tips or need to know info about Royal in general that I don't even know to ask ? This can be any kind of tips at all !!
  3. I can confirm this is accurate. Your casino tier status starts at 0 with Royal, even when going thru the Casino Royale Offer Match Program and getting an offer. (see pic)
  4. Wowza, that looks like cramped quarters. I'm counting 14 players on that table. Isn't a standard table 8 on each end, so 16 players ? I'd love to know the dimensions of this vs a standard craps table you'd find on ships.
  5. Thanks so much for the reply ! I am hopeful. I emailed the Players Club to see if I could get an exact answer, for Carnival Corp brands at least. There definitely used to be one on Magic, I spotted it Feb 2018. The slot locator tool, I used pre-covid to find out they had 14. Now I'm curious, what's a mini craps table ? I'm going now to go check out your post on that ..... Anyone seeing this post, please let us know if you've seen these machines anywhere ! Thanks
  6. Is there ever a cutoff for reservations ? For example, let's say I wake up at 9am, would I be able to see & book a 9:30 breakfast reservation if it was open/available ?? Or is there a certain time that starts when only walk-ups are available ?
  7. Also, please submit feedback about the 140 character limit. I also submitted that same feedback. 140 is all but useless. I asked them to increase it to 3000. Or 1000 at absolute bare minimum. That chat window thing is odd ... so it appears to do this for me if you click in the message field during your wait. When I clicked, it immediately changed to that same message you got. But I left the window open and sometimes would even say "agent" again getting the same message every time. Eventually an agent just popped in !! I think in my same spot I was already in line ?? I don't know how many chat agents they have working, but yes it is a looooooong wait even when you're just #12 in line. As stated above, you can get your cabin changed, they can do it by phone or by chat, or your travel agent can do it (they will do it for you even if you have a travel agent, unlike some other lines).
  8. Thanks. Are you EST Eastern Standard Time zone ?
  9. I found this one with bedding for 3 ... but I haven't been able to find one of what it looks like in a room for 3 that doesn't have the 3rd bed setup. https://kennethisclearedfortakeoff.files.wordpress.com/2021/04/img-cab-sea-terrace-three-person-day-v1-0392-1600x900-1.jpg?w=1024
  10. 11pm EST ? Did the app say bookings were supposed to open yesterday and they didn't open until 11pm yesterday evening, or did the app say bookings were supposed to open today and it actually opened yesterday at 11pm ?
  11. How long is the tram ride ? Is there only one tram or multiples going back & forth ?
  12. Haha, yes there are. TOO many in fact, I can't get anything productive done because I'm glued to youtube. : ) By the way, what can't you get in ? This website ? lololol
  13. Have you seen a pic of this anywhere ? In my mind I'm picturing it looking like the L shaped sofa configuration ... except the part against the wall is still set up as a sofa (or bed if there's 3 people) and juts into the space where the chair normally is. So basically, a king bed with an armless "sofa" next to it ??
  14. I just like how thoroughly he walks the ship cause I'm eager to see it. I'm not sure there's anything he missed ??
  15. Oh yeh, good idea !! I bet you're right. But shoot, that means no way to get until we get onboard. Thanks taco !!
  16. Yeh, that is weird. Didn't they just start sailing finally in October ?? But looking at it, the review cruise was in July. Here's where I heard it. I've got it set to start a few seconds before he mentions the limoncello shot (hopefully I did it right) . . .

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/profile/1913055-canarywharfcruiser/ @canarywharfcruiser Well shoot. That didn't work. Anyone know how to link like how it is this post #1501 @sid_9169 ..... ? https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2854562-scarlet-lady-live-solo-back-to-back/?do=findComment&comment=63380613
  18. Here's what I'm talking about ... check out the difference in these two pdf's ..... https://boards.cruisecritic.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=869992&key=13dbe2aef485f457bb536089f4f5e5d6 https://eatsleepcruise.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Wake-Brunch-Menu.pdf The first is an original document (likely direct from Virgin) and is very crisp and clear. If it doesn't open from my link, just click on The Wake menu from above. The second from eat sleep cruise is some other something (scan, picture, or whatever) than was then converted to pdf. That's why the quality isn't very good. That's why I was trying to find out where/how OP got their downloads.
  19. I just saw the limoncello in a review last night. Sad to hear they swapped, hopefully its only because they temporarily ran out or something and it'll be back soon.
  20. Thanks so much for the reply. Yep, I've found those. I'm hoping OP @CanaryWharfCruiser comes back and let's us know how they downloaded them. The downloaded pdf's are so much clearer than pretty much anything I've been able to find online (since they're original document pdf downloads and not a picture of the menu).
  21. Yep, the video above shows it fully furnished and everything. Hopefully its just that the door is locked but it will open one day soon. Cute fun idea in a speakeasy like almost hidden location (stupid covid for ruining everything!)
  22. I don't live in Florida (and also not California). I am planning a Virgin Voyages cruise. I'm not scared of hearing sex talk even though I'm not from California. We have BBQ restaurants where I live as well even though I don't live in California. I am wealthy enough to travel even though I don't live in California. I don't even have a Tweeter account or Instamagram or Snappity Chat, and the only person who follows me is my hubby and that's only following me through Costco because even though the aisles are wide enough for 3 carts or 8 people, for some reason he always follows me instead of walking beside me. Although it IS true, I don't love to exercise (ugh!) and I'm not LGBT, but I don't think that's because I don't live in California. And I'm certainly not vegetarian. I love me some ground up cow formed into patties and cooked over an open flame. Hell I'm not picky, they don't even have to be ground up, I'll eat them in steak form as well. Question to OP: let's say VV did cruise out of Cali ... what PORTS would the ships sail to ?!? Last time I made a list, of just Carnival, they were sailing to 45 ports or locations in the Caribbean/Bahamas/Bermuda area alone. Not counting Europe, Hawaii, trans-Atlantic/Pacific, Alaska, Canada, Australia, and the 8 west coast California/Mexico ports. (I've sailed to 17 of them on Carnival alone a total of 54 times because of repeats, my goal is to complete the Caribbean!!!)
  23. Actually found some video footage of it ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9jXTJY7_3M&t=4563s start at 1:16:03
