  1. Hoping someone has a pic of the setup of this room when there's only 2 passengers. Thanks for the pic of it with the beds made up !
  2. Actually, the opposite of that ... bar 12 when playing Don't Pass means you win on 2 & 3 which wins 3/36 times and is a push 1/36 on 12. If it was bar 3, then 2 & 12 would win 2/36 times and 3 would be a push 2/36. So bar 3 would be more of an advantage to the house (one less way to win, one more way to push) I haven't seen it. That's why I said it wouldn't surprise me. Who would've thought there'd be triple zero roulette and 6:5 blackjack. .
  3. If you have access to Adobe Acrobat (not just the reader) or another PDF manipulator, you can take that text out before you even print it. I'm guessing you can't print the boarding passes yet, correct ? I do have Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat and also can remember when the time comes, hit me up on here by quoting me and/or @angela12345 and pause long enough for CC to display my name in the dropdown that will come up so you can select it and it will show @angela12345. We'll figure out some way to get the PDF to me and I can edit it for you, if you'd like.
  4. Hahaha ! Now that's taking it to the next level. Well done !
  5. The story on having "Priority" on your luggage tags ... you should tell him you're buying faster to the fun for y'alls anniversary.
  6. Over $20 I have found ... 3 tequilas at Blue Iguana (out of 20) 1 champagne, 2 cognacs, 1 rum, 2 scotch, 1 tequila repeat at the steakhouse 1 rum at Red Frog 1 cabernet at Rudi's https://cruisespotlight.com/carnival-cruise-line-drink-menus-and-pricing/
  7. Are you guys still having this issue ? I can't get it to come up either.
  8. You mean like pina colada or strawberry dacquiri, yes ? Not like mojito or gin & tonic ?
  9. Yep, I found an email with my dad from Feb 2016 which just said "Carnival has implemented a new policy regarding beverages that can be carried onboard" but we didn't talk about how much it was or exactly when it had been implemented. Then another email from Oct 2016 when water was $3.99 for 12-pk, maybe it never was lower than 3.99 ? I found another two emails in Feb 2018 and Dec 2018 when it was $4.50. I don't know when it increased to $4.95.
  10. Thank you for this screenshot ! Oh wow, gonna love this once they get it working right.
  11. First time booking GTY for us ... do you mind sharing when you booked, when it was assigned, and when is your cruise ? Mine hasn't been assigned yet, and I'm only seeing 4 cabins left available on the ship.
  12. I think I remember your hubby plays table games as well ? Was it only the slot points, or was it tables as well that was included ? When were you guys on Celebration ?
  13. What items still get a discount for purchasing in advance ? (for example Funshops online when you login to your booking) - Cheers - $59.95/person per day in advance / $64.95 onboard - Pixels - discounts on packages in advance / no packages available onboard (how much are pictures onboard nowadays?) - Wifi - "up to" 15% discount in advance on various plans / no discount onboard (what does "up to" 15% mean ? how much is Wifi onboard nowadays?) - Spa - discounts when purchasing 3 spa treatments = 10% off highest cost item + 20% middle + 30% lowest item - Excursions - 10%(?) discount if purchased within 48 hours of booking the cruise - Specialty Dining - for some reason the steakhouse is showing up as $48 in the first screen that shows all of the dining choices, but $42 when you click on it, and Bonsai dinner is showing as $35 instead of $38 What other savings are available if purchased in advance that I'm missing ? I know water used to be a discount because there was no delivery fee if you paid in advance, but now its the same price advance or onboard.
  14. The other thing about the water price going up .... used to be if you ordered the water in advance you didn't pay the 15% gratuity, so there was an advantage to order in advance. Plus, it would be in your cabin when you arrived. I know for a fact in 2018 it was $4.50 for 12 pack water and no gratuity charge if ordered in advance. I thought before that it was $2.95 ? 3.95 ? But I can't find that anywhere and the search function on this website sucks at best. Now it's $9.95 + 18% delivery fee. There is no advantage in ordering in advance. Yes @ShakyBeef, many of us KNEW the lowered price was a PR spin for no longer being allowed to bring our own water onboard and that price was going to go up up up. It was approx end 2015/beginning 2016 when they changed it so we could no longer bring on bottled water ?
  15. We should all make the suggestion that they add the rate code somewhere ... when you print your cruise documents, or on the booking details page online. Somewhere !! I just called and made this suggestion. Has anyone else suggested this ? edit: booking code promo code offer code
  16. Do you mind sharing what company you usually use to underwrite your travel insurance ?
  17. $5 min ? 3-4-5 odds ? Did you happen to notice if Dont Pass was Bar 12 ? (or take a pic of the felt?) WOW, yay !!
  18. Dang it, I really hate to hear that. So basically your answer is cabins 2421 and 2425 both suck. : ( Is either of them less sucky ? We have not been that lucky being near the elevators. That is a deciding factor for us now. Way more noise from people coming off the elevators than people in nearby cabins. Of course that's also bad-luck of the draw if you get bad neighbors. We've been neighbor lucky and elevator un-lucky.
  19. Yes, the app goes live in advance of midnight. For us, it went live approx 8pm EST on the day before. i.e. if it says in the app you can make reservations on Dec 16, for us the app went live Dec 15 at about 8pm. But, we could not make the reservations at that time. So yes, that really means "not live yet, check back later" Making Reservations went live about 11pm EST, using my same example above Dec 15 approx 11pm EST. Unfortunately I fell asleep before it went live !!!!! LOLOLOL Please record as exact as you can what time it actually goes live, and let us know ? I should have set a timer for every 5 minutes or something liker that. I was a dummy.
  20. Even all the way back at the very end of the galley under where 2421 and 2425 are ? I googled and couldn't find a review from anyone who had actually stayed in those specific cabins, or very close to there. Yeh, not ideal I know. If we weren't cruising with them, we would pick a different cabin all together. (sigh) When I looked, I think every single remaining oceanview is connecting. 😩 I'm more concerned about their neighbors !! They're a fairly new couple and still in the honeymoon phase where they're frisky often LOL. 2429 is the only oceanview left that is non-connecting BUT its directly in front of the hallway coming off the elevators. Folks tend to be LOUD coming off the elevators !!
  21. Pros / cons for Carnival Freedom interior cabin 2421 or 2425 Which should I choose ? Friends will be in ocean view 2407, and we'll be the inside cabin so either is fine in regards to distance from them. Do you know what's in the small blank area beside 2425 ? Below us is other cabins so we're good there. Above is the end of the crew galley/kitchen area so not sure about noise ? Has anyone ever stayed in either of these cabins on Freedom or any of the other Conquest class ships (Conquest Glory Valor Liberty Freedom) ? About us : My husband will occasionally take a nap during the day, but otherwise isn't in the cabin. I typically don't go back to the cabin between 9am - 1am except to change (i.e. only in the cabin/sleeping from 1am-9am typically). We're mostly concerned about overnight or early in the morning (like 5-9am) kitchen noise directly above us, and in the blank areas surrounding those cabins on deck 2. Sadly, there are very few other locations currently available where we could be near each other. Friend is concerned about seasickness so she wanted 2407 because that was her only/most middle option on oceanview cabins that had an interior anywhere nearby.
  22. What is the Wifi password (is there one?) for Scarlet ? Thanks in advance !
  23. How much $$ is parking per night if you park right there at Terminal V ? edit: are there any other options folks recommend ?
