No, nothing. I’ll go to Tuesday Morning and try to find an identical pair. Or Etsy. I just don’t want my MIL to know I lost them so soon after she gave them to me. I put them in such a stupid place that it’s possible they are still there. The earrings are really small. If no one uses those bottled waters, they might sit there until someone does.

Wow! I’m so glad you got it back! I didn’t even open my safe, but I do hear of many finding left jewelry in there. If they do find these earrings, it’s probably going to cost more to ship them back to me than they cost. Lol Its good to hear that people do get their stuff back.

What happened is, I made this my spa cruise. I had 3 massages, 1 facial and 3 acupuncture sessions. I put the earrings on the silver plate and even thought to myself that it was a bad place since they were sort of behind something and I did nothing about it and then I ran off to the spa. We debarked with luggage and they said they would call around 8:15 so I woke up at 7 and then while in the shower at. 7:15, they called us to leave ! My son was still sleeping! So that was a last minute grab and dash. The earrings probably cost no more than $25. I’d like to try and get them back though. It’s ok if I don’t get them back. The cruise was great! I did my part to keep CCL afloat lol with all of my spa purchases. (I went crazy). I did notice some things though. We didn’t eat in the dining room at all. As far as I could remember, bacon was only served once in 6 days at the buffet. I forgot how much I love Cozumel. It’s always a good day. I’ll make a post this week about it. I didn’t take many pics.

There are no tickets for tender.

If you didn’t book it through carnival you aren’t going to have priority tender unless someone takes pity on you. I would be waiting on deck 2 before they call for it so you can scurry on down to 1 via the stairs. I just got back and did the river cruise. DH informed me last night that an LSU student was killed recently in the city. Wrong place wrong time and caugHt in gang crossfire (which has happened on st Thomas years ago) and could definitely happen in New Orleans. Just be aware

I’m turning into my mother. They are inexpensive and from Tuesday morning, but my MIL gave them to me for Christmas and I actually liked them. Minimalist, small oval turquoise. I left them where the two waters you can buy are (like by the desk under the TV) and on that metal plate where the two glasses are. If anyone is on glory, cabin 9249 starboard forward. Juan is the steward (he was great). Is there a lost and found? I’d like to at least try to get them back. My MIL liked the earrings for herself but gave them to me instead. I feel really bad about this. thanks.

@RCmommy wow! That’s sad. Update: They aren’t dead! He started hacking real bad and she was like oh Sheet. Lol. Now they are sleeping again. At least they are early to bed; I can probably deal with their noise during the day.

I’m pretty sure it’s new also, and I also noticed there was new literature and specifically a marijuana paragraph about how they recognize it’s legal in numerous states but it’s still federally illegal and they have to go by federal laws. Well, “nightmare of the seas” just got off the elevator and I could HEAR him (I knew it was him)and he did pretend hacking the whole way down the hall. They slammed the door to their cabin and his wife just told him to F off. I’m pretty sure they are fighting so I’m going to send security to do a welfare check. I wish I could upload a video so you all can hear this.

I ordered water, sodas and beer to the room. You can only get 8 beers total though.

Fog on the river

I have seen wal mart type behavior on some of my Carnival cruises. Right now, I’m on Glory and I’m kinda worried because the man in the cabin next door (age 55+) is barking at the river from his balcony, sounds like he is rearranging furniture against the wall and is having an entire loud conversation with a lot of F bombs (hey, I love a well placed F bomb but not at his decibel level). I can’t figure out if he is already drunk (3 hours after shoving off) or if he overcompensating for a hearing issue. (I have a doctor friend who does this). We exchanged pleasantries on the balcony and he seems nice enough. I’m trying to assess the situation and I’m trying not to borrow trouble. He is also a door slammer. Anyway, Carnival is loud. We went two years without a cruise and then I went on HAL to Alaska, and that was such a pleasant quiet my kind of crowd experience, but you lose a lot of activity and dining options. Many carnival cruises smell of weed (I don’t mind it but plenty of people do) but I think they are starting to crack down on that. On embarkation, we had to all put our bags down so the dog could sniff. I doubt that was for explosives and I don’t remember a dog sniffing carry ons on previous cruises but maybe they did and I don’t remember. I just has the best Cuban sandwich I ever had at the deli. Carnival has better than average food. It’s definitely a party atmosphere, which makes things fun.

If the ships can’t get in, planes probably can’t get out. Or at least it will domino the rest of the day. My sibling works for southwest and I’m guessing this is why my sibling is working late tonight.

I had my first ever acupuncture session a little while ago on Glory while cruising down the Mississippi. I just wanted to give some feedback that it was so nice that I booked 2 more sessions.

I’m on the ship. Sweating profusely in the lido buffet. Our room will be ready at 1:30. I ate at home so just got a small piece of vanilla and elder flower cake out of boredom lol.

We are with 22 people so my son and I are sharing a balcony cabin. I just got back from bringing two to the port. It’s very foggy/dreary and super humid. I’m probably not going outside where there is no AC until this evening.
