  1. Gordonchick , I don’t know who told you that they aren’t printing the dailies but they certainly are as evidenced by the number of people who are actually posting pictures of theirs from recent cruises.
  2. Do you mean the Petite Chef restaurant? That is what is currently in the Qsine space.
  3. Remember that it isn’t really round-trip from Venice anymore, it’s from Ravenna. That’s a couple of hours away.
  4. there are a couple of US outlets and one European outlet at the desk. There is also an outlet in the bathroom which can be used for shavers only, not for charging your electronic devices. Be sure to order an extension cord from Special Needs before you cruise. Do not bring your own. They will also provide you with distilled water. do not bring any power strips that have surge protection in an attempt to add extra outlets. They are a fire hazard.
  5. Usually suites are “all inclusive” but if not (For instance if you are on a blue chip club booking) you would need to buy a beverage package. What does your booking confirmation say?
  6. There is no free Wi-Fi on the ship. If you want to use the app, you do not need to pay for Wi-Fi, you can use that for free. Some ports have free Wi-Fi hotspots, some don’t. It would be helpful if you would tell us which ports you will be visiting.
  7. Probably 3 dress up nights and many men wear jackets. Some wear business suits, some wear tuxedos, some wear sport coats.
  8. I have experience to go green two different ways. If I don’t specify, they come in the morning to do the regular cleaning and then stop by in the evening for a quick turn down and pillow chocolates and to close the curtains. Lately I have asked for them to do the cleaning in the evening. In those cases, they have not come during the daytime at all and only were in the room once a day while I was at dinner. It’s nice to have a choice, and the evening cleaning works into my schedule better.
  9. The breakfast is a continental breakfast, no cooked food, serve between 8 and 10 AM. There are juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffees and teas, Bellini’s and Bloody Mary’s usually served in one of the specialty restaurants The evening happy hour is not a single event at a single location. During the hours from 5 to 7, you can order drinks from the Captains Club happy hour menu at various bars around the ship. Probably not important if you have a beverage package, but if you don’t, it is an opportunity for two hours of free soft drinks, cocktails and a limited selection of wines.
  10. A few years ago Celebrity experimented with cartons instead of cans or bottles in Alaska. Haven’t seen them since
  11. It’s too bad that an unwise decision to fly with an arrival on embarkation day is now causing you stress. I think you know now that you should never arrived and embarkation day. At this point you can ask yourself, how much money is it worth to reduce that stress? if you miss your Connection, Celebrity will do what it needs to in order to connect you with the ship. It might not be in Corsica, so you are looking at possibly missing a couple of days of the cruise. be sure to pack all your medications and a couple of changes of clothes in your carry-on in case you and your luggage are separated.
  12. your boarding pass will say Concierge. With the staggered noarding times you shouldn’t encounter long lines yes yes Do a search of Cruise Critic and you can you see several photographs of bar menus and lists in the different packages recently posted no shorts in the Main Dining Rooms
  13. Ships are still short staffed. The CC party requires bar staff, coffee service set up and clean up, etc. I would not look for the party to return the staff are 100%.
  14. Pretty much the same. Occasionally you get a sea pass that is printed in portrait mode rather than landscape mode
  15. What about airline pax and private ships? I think that is why the organize it the way they do. still, many countries with far fewer health resources aren’t charging this entry tax
  16. Pre made drinks with alcohol are not allowed.
  17. You pick your morning time when you do the online check-in. They will bring you unopened cans of soda. If you want the earliest possible dining time, you probably don’t need to book it at all. Look on the app or In the daily planner and you will see what time the dining room opened, so go then
  18. Same here. Won’t be spending another dime there. I hope the Bermuda government puts my “contribution” to good use
