  1. I thought you had a travel agent? If you do, Celebrity won’t really talk to you about your reservation.
  2. Equinox for sure. $700 would go a long way toward excellent experiences—-specialty dining, excursions, gifts, whatever
  3. Go back through your history and you should see how many points they gave you at the conversion. Did you have and how many New Points did they give you?
  4. It doesn’t matter if it’s a day later or a week later. It’s a completely different cruise. You have to cancel the one you have and start off with the new one and since you are after final payment you have to pay any penalties the cruise line and your travel agent imposes.
  5. Have your friends been in near contact with you? When is the cruise?
  6. Ummmm ok. Confusion still reigns. back to back testing, required or no? Provided or not?
  7. The happy hour menu is a fixed menu. You can’t upgrade the items or order something off the menu. Only the items listed can be ordered. If I read what you are asking correctly you’re wondering if you could go from the basic happy hour drink to a more expensive drink and pay the difference. No.
  8. Things are changing so quickly and now I am thoroughly confused. Anyone else back to back on these two cruises who can help pick through the various rules and regulations? I would normally look to the Roll Call but this is specific only to B2B passengers. Interested in regulations for vaccinated passengers only. cruise 1 visits Canada. Departs Monday 3 October. arriveCan is required pre-cruise, yes? what days are acceptable for testing for this initial embarkation? proctored or unproctored? types of test accepted? cruise 2 visits Bermuda on 17 October. will Celebrity be providing tests for B2B passengers during cruise 1? Bermuda fee required, yes? I know this is an extremely fluid situation but if I know what is required today maybe I can keep track of changes in a more organized fashion. Right now it just seems chaotic to me.🤪
  9. Not likely. All major changes are on hold for now. Only required periodic maintenance is happening until there is more cash flow
  10. Don’t count the sail date. Thursday for a Saturday departure is fine. Keep checking the Celebrity website for instructions because this is an ever-changing situation.
  11. You check by doing a mock booking. Better still you communicate with your travel agent.
  12. The OP recognizes that she can’t do what needs to be done in order to cruise and has hired someone to help with technology, and also arranged for hiring a Nurse to perform the needed tests. It is apparently not her first cruise, but perhaps first since the start up. In any case, you can tell that anxiety has set in. I feel for her, since I know people for whom anxiety easily accelerates into panic. I hope she will read all of the responses to all of her threads, and be able to act on them.
  13. The Celebrity elite happy hour does not take place on embarkation day. On the other days of the cruise, between five and seven, you may order a drink from the happy hour menu at nearly any bar on the ship.
  14. Not necessarily so. For most cruises, single cruisers pay double and the gratuity is paid out accordingly. (Lately a few cruises have been bookable as a single without paying double, but this is new and no one knows if it will continue)
  15. There are four Boston round trips. August 31, September 11, September 21, and October 3. The September 21 and October 3 are currently showing sold out.
  16. When Cruising started up again, there was an effort to keep servers from touching peoples cards. They might glance at the card, or they might ask for your room number. Recently, I have seen some servers actually take the card over to the point-of-sale machine, some have just asked for room numbers, and others have asked to see the card, so anything is possible. While the app works for many things, it doesn’t replace your card. It won’t work for getting on and off the ship at a port, for example. And fairly often I experience times when the app simply went down and was inaccessible. You would need your card to get in your room if that happened to you.
  17. Yes you need a backup plan or you won’t be cruising
  18. in another thread the OP said the cruise is in one month. Must be Summit out of Boston
  19. If I understand the OPC question correctly it is how does one prove that you have a drink package. At boarding day, you should see the correct code on your boarding pass which you can view on the app. When you get on the ship, the code will be on your SeaPass card. Look for CALL or PALL, classic and premium. If you do not have the code on your card, go to guest relations and they will either print you a new card or they will apply a sticker to your card showing your beverage package. At that point, all you need to do is show the card to a server. At that point, all you need to do is show the card to a server. Or give the server your room number. They can access the information and they will know which package you have even without showing the card.
  20. You are never out of place when you dress up on chic night and you will not be the only one.
