The servers of course requested 10s on our last cruise, but I was surprised when our bar server asked to 'please remember us by name on the survey' and pointed to their badge. I don't have a problem with that; there are probably a lot of people that don't realize it makes a difference to them.
5 day Bermuda: lots of excursions 30% off but they're expensive to begin with. Giovanni's lunch went down to 12.99 pp. Dinner there is higher than it was on 'pasta day'. Chops lunch 15.99.
5 night dining went from $275 to $178 so that's not bad. (before 18% grat is added)
Wifi and The Key are still expensive. Pickleball is 40% off guess that's not selling.
This was on Liberty. We got one for every single drink. The servers seemed a little awkward about it and most gave an explanation each time. Something like, 'they're trying to keep track now'.
I've also given up complaining in the dining room. I just go to the WJ if MDR was unsuccessful. I don't know how worthwhile it is anyway. The only thing they acknowledge is if you stop spending your $$$.
This is my first time booking for 1 online and going with two once onboard.
Previously I have booked for two (to reserve my preferred time) and had one dinner refunded with my BOGO once onboard. It's an extra step either way. Worst they can do is completely cancel me and say they're full. That's fine with me. It saves me money which is something RC does not want to do, so I'm not too worried.
I recently gave my waiter extra tip at the end. I asked him, 'do you get to keep this?' He said, 'you have already paid your tips so I get to keep the extra'. This is my meager data point I share with you all.
