  1. They had variety on the menus they just didn't have anything in stock. Only Kendall Jackson!
  2. It was listed on all the drinks menus but not available anywhere I asked on Liberty. Their wine selection was very limited.
  3. I thought this was the best thing in the MDR all week (Liberty).
  4. Remember to use your name for one bag of laundry and her name for the other. Same with the BOGO.
  5. As I said: Once you know you can do it, it's easy. I just don't think they make it obvious.
  6. Regardless, once people know it's happening and start booking, your preferred options may no longer be available.
  7. Once you know you can do it, it's easy. I just don't think they make it obvious.
  8. The servers of course requested 10s on our last cruise, but I was surprised when our bar server asked to 'please remember us by name on the survey' and pointed to their badge. I don't have a problem with that; there are probably a lot of people that don't realize it makes a difference to them.
  9. Are the standard gratuities optional - yes. Does Royal Caribbean make it easy to choose to remove them - not really.
  10. 5 day Bermuda: lots of excursions 30% off but they're expensive to begin with. Giovanni's lunch went down to 12.99 pp. Dinner there is higher than it was on 'pasta day'. Chops lunch 15.99. 5 night dining went from $275 to $178 so that's not bad. (before 18% grat is added) Wifi and The Key are still expensive. Pickleball is 40% off guess that's not selling.
  11. I think the food was generally good but nothing was excellent. Some things were poor.
  12. You can't change the daily amount charged onboard, you can only leave tips on or remove. If you prepay you cannot remove.
  13. That's pretty clear but the mass email they sent out does not have as much detail.
  14. We consistently tipped bartenders $2-$5 cash per round and we didn't notice any better service. Maybe my service would have been horrible otherwise?
  15. This was on Liberty. We got one for every single drink. The servers seemed a little awkward about it and most gave an explanation each time. Something like, 'they're trying to keep track now'.
  16. I've also given up complaining in the dining room. I just go to the WJ if MDR was unsuccessful. I don't know how worthwhile it is anyway. The only thing they acknowledge is if you stop spending your $$$.
  17. This is my first time booking for 1 online and going with two once onboard. Previously I have booked for two (to reserve my preferred time) and had one dinner refunded with my BOGO once onboard. It's an extra step either way. Worst they can do is completely cancel me and say they're full. That's fine with me. It saves me money which is something RC does not want to do, so I'm not too worried.
  18. I recently gave my waiter extra tip at the end. I asked him, 'do you get to keep this?' He said, 'you have already paid your tips so I get to keep the extra'. This is my meager data point I share with you all.
