Oasis of the sea questions
mets07 replied to Cruise Girl Forever's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Amen to the smooth seas. π -
I know they charge some people because I had a towel charge (incorrectly) show up on the final night of my most recent cruise. I called Guest Services, they said it was removed and I confirmed about 30 minutes later that the credit was there. It is best to check your account periodically. Happy cruising.

@Jimbo Our last few cruises out of Bayonne there have been the traditional lines (vs. iPads.... although we did experience that process some years ago there). Lines were pretty long, however there were tons of check-in counters and the process (and photo) went quickly. On one cruise prior to boarding we had to sit in a waiting area with many rows of chairs. On our last cruise, after check-in, they sent us directly to board. So it all may depend on the time you arrive, etc.

Oasis of the sea questions
mets07 replied to Cruise Girl Forever's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hi! When we went on Oasis at the end of July, they did have an omelet station in the WJ, but it was somewhat hidden. There was a worker standing at the end of one area that said Eggs and more (or something to that effect). She gave you a beeper after you gave your order. It was probably the most efficient omelet station I have experienced in any WJ, and it was likely because there was no big sign or line. -
LIVE: Quantum of the Seas. 8 - 28 - 2023 β 9 - 4 - 2023

Have been there and it is beautiful and wonderful. -
We had connecting Boardwalk balcony staterooms on Oasis and had the permanent balcony divider that could not be opened.

Now $1.50 for gelato in Windjammer
mets07 replied to Slidell_Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
@cublet My husband's great-grandfather came to the US from Bristol. His family apparently made pipes (as for smoking tobacco) there, not gelato. π Great photo. Love the hats. -

We would not want any of that. But would request a cab instead of the champagne. π· Enjoy the cruise, @Lionesss -
We were on Oasis the week prior to you guys and also had approx 6700 guests on board. We ate in MDR and Windjammer. We had our son and 3 of his kids, ages 6, 4, 2 in our party. The crew in both the MDR and Windjammer were kind and attentive given our craziness. Ha. We had never been on a cruise before with very little children and it was quite different and exhausting, but fun. Thanks for your review @mac_tlc

Just off Oasis of the Seas (July 28 - August 4). Hope all of you are well. This was a very different cruise for us as we went with our older son and 3 of his children ages 6, 4, and 2. We came home quite exhausted. Ha. But we all had a good time. My husband and I typically do a bit of lounging around and there was none of that! Constant activity ... pools, slides, rock-climbing, mini-golf, ice skating, carousel, Aqua 80 and Frozen in Time shows ... and more. It was definitely the most crowded cruise we were ever on with almost 6700 guests. We went to the beach (Cocoa Beach) at Port Canaveral and Blue Lagoon at Nassau. Other stop was Coco Cay. Weather was good, but hot as expected. Best to all of you. ποΈ π’

I don't take it as hate. Disagreement, bluntly stated, perhaps. Life is too short! Best to all. Happy cruising. -

@firefly333 is a woman. She supports multiple cruise lines and is entitled to her opinions. Personally, I prefer milk in my coffee. πβ Happy cruising to all of you.
