  1. I made that mistake once (putting a hold on a reservation without saying I wanted to use my FCD. I then tried to give it to my TA. It was a few years ago so I don't remember how it was solved.
  2. I don't know but why bother? Just contact your TA tomorrow and give them the booking.
  3. I have only done this once. It was about 68 days before traveling and therefore after final payment. No problem doing it online. Big problem was getting my refund. I called 2x and each time told they could see it on my account and I would get it refunded to cc with about 10 business days. Didn't happen. Started a thread here to hear about other people's experiences. Not too many responses but a few said they got it within a day or two. Ultimately I went over to F and posted in two Princess forums. Luckily for me my TA saw my post (she had previously told me it takes a long time. Also she doesn't handle air) and told me she would check further after the week end. Took her a couple of days of emailing or talking with her contacts. They wanted to discount my refund because she discounted my cruise fare. Ah, no. my air was never discounted. Ultimately she said it appears as if I am all set. This was Tuesday. Said it will probably take 10 business days. I hope so because it is $624. My TA is a top Princess TA. As much as we have problems with customer service so does she. She said most cruise lines are bad now to varying degrees except for NCL. However, she said she doesn't like NCL (didn't ask why). We shouldn't have to go through this mess.

  5. This may have been mentioned on this thread but probably on another. We will be on the Enchanted and I want to know the outlet situation. Can you use two at the same time? I have a feeling I read that one is being used as a motion sensor light but not sure.

  7. We did Explorer tour. We debated Connoisseur but figured we could eat for less money and we were right. I know people love the Connoisseur but don't worry about the Explorer tours. As someone said above, the On Your Own tours do not include any excursions where the Explorer one's have some. When you are checking out how long to go and where keep in mind if only one night at a lodge that means you do not have a full day there but partial days. Read up or ask questions about the different locations so you can decide which one's have the excursions you would want.
  8. Buying and logging into your wifi package. I understand buying but how do you log in to your wifi package? We are used to logging in on our laptop. We buy one package and when dh gets up very early he goes online. He does not use a smart phone but I do. How would he login?
  9. I am considering two different walking tours in Athens. Each has their pros and cons. Each is for the Acropolis and also the Acropolis Museum. Just want to know what others think. 1. Athens-Walks is 87 Euros/person including tickets. Each guide has about 17 people. 4 hours long. Starts at 9 am. 2. Athens Walking Tours is more expensive at 95 Euros/person including tickets. Each guide has on average 18 people but max 24. 3.5 hours long. Starts at 8:30 am. Basically #1 is less expensive, 30 minutes longer, starts 30 minutes later, and I don't know what max people would be but has "about" the same # of people as #2. 3. Another question is that I could buy the tickets on Trip Advisor. Might cost slightly more but have the option to reserve my spot now and they will bill credit card 48 hours before the tour. Not sure I want to book through a 3rd party. The tour companies and Trip Advisor have 24 hour cancellation. 4. If I buy through the tour company I can just buy the tour and give them cash to pay for the entrance tickets. Is that better than buying them in advance with the tour company? Which would you pick or which DID you pick and why. I assume both tours will be good as both seem to be highly rated. Any ideas of that to do either later in the day or on our other day in Athens before our cruise? Thanks.
  10. Exciting! We saw him on our first Princess cruise in 2012. I just went on his website and he will still be on when we are in September! Yay!

  12. I had booked two cruises about 2 weeks apart. Did EZ Air for both. About 6 weeks or so ago I cancelled one. Today I received an email from Delta telling me my flight has changed on the cruise I cancelled! It is about 75 days til that flight. Never made final payment. When I go to Delta it says I am confirmed. Not sure if Princess bought the ticket long in advance. There were several reasons we cancelled this cruise. A minor reason was that on Delta it showed we were flying r/t to Rome when we were going on from Rome to Athens! Didn't want to deal with EZ Air on that but again it was not the main reason we decided to cruise 2 weeks earlier.
  13. Many of the people responding here don't realize that you could have a TA but you are calling about something they don't take care of. Example - EZ Air issues. I had trouble with EZ Air. Two different agents said I had to speak with Customer Service. Hold time too long yesterday. They said CS was open 24/7. I said no and they said yes. Well, I called about 8 am this morning but guess what? They were closed. Recording didn't say when they opened. I called back at 9 am and didn't have to wait. I don't know if the answer I received was correct (When do I get my refund of the difference in the EZ Air price I paid at final payment and the amount my flights cost now because I changed to less expensive flights 75 days out). I was told 10-15 business days. We shall see. These agents are poorly trained.

  16. Thanks, but have you used this email for a refund after final payment? If so how long did it take? EZ Air says I have to go through Customer Service. Two different reps told me this.
  17. I just called EZ Air again. This agent did not have a good command of English so I was constantly trying to re-explain the situation. Ultimately I asked if she was the right department. She said I had to call customer service. She said they are open 24/7. I called the main Princess number but wait time is still more than one hour. I will have to call back during the week.
  18. @cre8tiv1 That is the number I dialed! There is no option for "revenue" dept. I think I clicked the last option which was for EZ Air but not if you are currently or about to travel. Maybe I should call and get someone else.
