    There can sometimes be a queue on the first night as everyone has to be shown to their table. It would be unusual to queue on another night. If you're sharing a table the waiter will usually wait until everyone has arrived to take orders.

    We haven't got anything booked until next year but our cabin number isn't showing at the moment. It was definitely there originally.

    Oh dear, I hope you can manage until then. We had a similar mishap on QM2 when we sent all our formal clothes with White Star luggage.

    Hope things improve once everyone gets over their travel. I always wondered if crossings have a different character depending on the direction.

    With an evening arrival you should have time to get a test in New York if they are still required by the time you sail.

    I'm sure that's true but it's been widely discussed on this board that the protocols on Cunard for European sailings are very different for US sailings. You just need to read the Celebrity board to see how they deal with Covid positive cases - they were moving people from balconies to outside cabins.

    Great photographs, thank you very much for sharing them. I'm sorry that your cruise was so affected by Covid and the CDC regulations for close contacts.

    We went to a garden party yesterday, lots of people we've not seen for a few years so it was a lovely afternoon. We watched the first part of the concert at the Palace, loved the Queen and Paddington ! The weather isn't very good today so most of the local picnics seem to be moving indoors.
