  1. I just booked a casino cruise today, when I got to the final page, it let me book for $0. My FCC covered port taxes and insurance. I had another cruise booked for October with less than $200 due. It now says it is paid in full. how long do you think this will last?
  2. I’m not talking about itineraries. I am talking about strengthening COVID safety protocols only in places where they will potentially have more cases discovered due to testing rules to fly back to us from YVR and expensive accommodations in both Anchorage and Vancouver. If they were worried about the increase in cases in Alaska, the Seattle RT itineraries would have the same protocol.

  4. I get that. What I was trying to say is that Princess only enacts safety measures for routes that have more possibilities for required testing. I feel like it is a see no evil approach instead of an approach that considers passenger and crew safety. In other words, they are only enacting measures where they might get ‘caught’.
  5. I hate to be a cynic but this route requires testing for those returning to US from Vancouver and the Seattle RTs do not. I wish I felt confident in stating that Princess’s first concern is passenger safety…….
  6. Looks to me that the desperation to make money is overriding an rational thought. I cancelled my cruise after your report. I hope to cruise again one day. I also hope to use all of my FCC’s but I certainly will not set foot on a ship any time soon.

  8. Yes, thank you so much for sharing! on this one, I called and told them I’d be late. They said it was air conditioning but I think they were playing loose. When I complained to the 3rd party, the hotel wanted me to PROVE they had done this. Thank goodness for PayPal. #neveragain
  9. That happened to me in New Orleans. It made for LONG walks. Thank goodness for PayPal!
  10. I had a bad experience pre-pandemic. A whale tour wrecked a boat. They keep stringing us along all day and I missed all other tours. I was angrier that they wouldn’t cancel and kept expecting me to run across Victoria twice to meet a boat that was never going to be there. I eventually got a refund, but it made my day frustrating. I have had my fill of third parties after this and a bad experience with a hotel booking. I’m going straight to the source from now on.
