Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit. I’ll be working a couple hours the morning, then I have an annual eye appt. Since my eyes will probably be dilated I took the rest of the day off. I have to start packing for my cruise. I fly to Miami on Saturday. I figure I need to be on the road by 4am. DH is driving the 1.5 hours to the airport then going home. Probably just in time to meet his biking group. Or maybe going back to bed. 😜 Thanks for the locations of the Holland America Line fleet, and all the daily information. It’s so wonderful that the Daily family cover each other so we have this thread that so many look forward to each day. 🥰 Thank you all for caring and sharing. Prayers 🙏 for everyone who needs them. For those that did make it to GSC Jan 2023, what ship were you on and were other ships with you?

So this afternoon I was a bit frustrated and disappointed (I’m fine now). Got an email from NCL stating that our cruise on Feb 5 (NCL Encore) has a(nother) itinerary change: Our day at Great Stirrup Cay (one of their private islands) was changed to Nassau. ~Frustrated because NCL had changed our day there a few months ago, from Monday (we would be the only ship) to Saturday along with their newest ship Prima. ~Disappointed because we were sharing an Ocean Villa with friends and we’re looking forward to our own special private space. C'est la vie. So I think we (mom, sis, and her DH) will stay on the ship and just relax and pack since it will be our last day. I think our friends are doing the same. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Thank you all for caring and sharing. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

Friends and I are playing bingo at the “local” (more than an hour away) casino today. We haven’t played in a few months, and I haven’t seen one friend since Covid started. Have you seen “Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund?” I’m always amazed that the 3 dogs seem to enjoy the costumes for their video skits. We had a Doberman that we would take camping with us. Once when it was cold weather camping (I think we were at Bryce?) I put a sweatshirt on the “princess” with her front legs through the sleeves and rolled up a bit. She just stood there and hung her head like she was so embarrassed. She looked at DH and asked (I do animal translations 😆) “Daddy, do I HAVE to were this?” “Well, your mother put it on you, so I guess so.” Princess was good and didn’t try to take it off. The booties were a different story.
