Good morning, Daily family. 🙂 I just realized last night that I didn’t apply for my shareholder OBC for my NCL cruise next month. That’s at the top of my to-do list this morning on my break.

I’m on the Feb 5 sailing. Originally we were to be at GSC on Monday (the only ship). In Sept (before final pymt) we were notified of a change in schedule: GSC will now be on Sat WITH Prima. Why would NCL move us to a date with Prima already there?

Kinky Boots used to be listed for Feb 5 cruise, but it’s no longer on the app. Choir of Man is still there. 🤔

There are meals that I only make while camping. One of them I learned in Girl Scouts “Catastrophe.” It’s diced Spam, diced canned new potatoes, scrambled with eggs. 😋 So glad your house is coming along. Floors look beautiful! When the parade was on a Sunday, it bothered the horses and therefore churchgoers. So in 1893 the “Never on a Sunday” rule was implemented. On KTLA it’s first broadcast is without commercials. Not sure about the others stations. 2023 Rose Parade Live

For some reason I was up at 2am, so I’m catching up on some reading. I know I’ll fall asleep at some point but I have my alarm set to see the Rose Parade at 8am. Yes, it’s repeated throughout the day but I think some things are cut out because it’s shorter. Take care, all. 🙂

Usually we have one Saturday service at 4pm, and two Sunday services at 8:30am and 10:30am. Christmas weekend we had THREE Sat services (1pm, 3pm, 5pm) and an online Christmas Day devotional. This weekend we had our usual Sat 4pm service and will only have one service today (New Year’s day) at 10:30am.

We disembarked in Amsterdam July 17. Had HAL transfer to the airport. Got to the airport at 8:30am. It took us 3 HOURS to get through baggage drop off, security, and passport control. 3 different lines. British Airways started boarding a minute after we got to the gate. If we didn’t have priority (business class) we would not have made our flight.

Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit. Happy New Year! 🎉 Lots of fireworks going off at midnight but it was short lived. It was raining. Volunteering at church this weekend. Since we don’t have an 8:30am service today, the Cel Arts team is going out to breakfast (those that are not sleeping in 😉). Prayers for everyone who needs them. Cheers for all the celebrations. I'm making Chili Colorado for the family potluck (it's a Mexican food theme this year... no turkey could be found plus we just had it for Thanksgiving). Takes 7 hours (+ 1 hour) in the slow cooker so I started yesterday and finishing it today. Looks pretty good so far. We used to go out for Christmas breakfast before the family gathering for lunch, but DH didn’t want to be out among strangers and possibly be exposed to something. So I cooked French toast at home. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

Good morning and Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate. Thanks to Rich, Roy, and the F&B ladies for the Daily News. We went to church last night (to free up seats for todays service) to see our Christmas production. We also took DMiL. She enjoyed the service. Afterwards we went to dinner.
