  1. Good luck with a carry on bag for one week.
  2. actually never had an issue with luggage valet regarding checking luggage. The time on my return flight home when booked was 1:15 PM, slowly crept up over the months to 3:30. I didn't realize using the lounge would be a problem and really felt Air2Sea-aka choice air should have advised me.
  3. I am not comfortable with the bottles being refilled. Is it sanitary?
  4. Well things do change. Had a problem with air2sea for an upcoming celebrity cruise. We booked through air 2sea a Delta flight- but learned after our Jan flight home, that we couldn't check our luggage if the flight was more then 5 hours away- we also cannot use the sky lounge until 3 hours before our scheduled flight- in Fort Lauderdale. We used them again for a March cruise paid in full in December- we couldn't change without paying a hefty fee of $200 pp. We fly first class and the airlines said no problem but since we booked with a third party they had to make the change- they would as a courtesy as we already paid in full. The original time of the flight had changed multiple times over the past few months- but we didn't think anything of it until our January flight- While I like the idea of not paying airfare in full before cruise payment is due, it really wasn't worth it. Didn't save money, spent more. We didn't want to go on a tour after the cruise nor use a hotel for a day in ft. lauderdale- Since no more luggage valet program which would have spared us dragging the luggage around, never again. Celebrity and Royal please bring back the luggage valet program.
  5. In a Royal Suite, you used to get free monogrammed bathrobes, they changed to monogrammed PJ's. On our last Equinox cruise in a Royal suite we got nothing- but the typical Royal suite perks- we always leave the cheesy slippers. Not only are they cheap, but you can slip and fall with them so be careful.
  6. We had to change our flight and we paid additional. You can only use the Delta lounge (if room) no more then 3 hours before your scheduled flight. That was ft lauderdale, and I assume rules apply to all lounges. You will be off the ship by 9 AM the latest.
  7. Not a fan- we are celebrity elite plus and have sailed on all classes of ships. Blu was ok on the S and M class ships, but IMO not on the edge class ships. Poor location in the middle of a hallway. Food ok, not great. I would book a well located balcony cabin and with the money saved, dine in specialty restaurants nightly. Good packages are available. If cc is cheap- book that and specialty restaurants. This will give you the extra points. We didn't use the other "amenities" of the AQ cabins.
  8. Not on the apex. Honestly we had breakfast in luminae, occassional lunch but mostly in the retreat. Dinner in the specialty restaurants. While people in luminae great, cindy the hostess and nino our waiter food imo good not great. We are going on the apex again in march, in a suite and will have dinner in specialty restaurants
  9. We actually dined in the Cosmopolitan restaurant and it was really nice. Service very good nice table for two- food very good- pleasantly suprised.
  10. They make you leave early. Want to empty the ship
  11. Paid $405 for both yesterday to choice air
  12. The menus the same for lunch. With a back to back not great
  13. When I purchased choice air, I was advised the reason the flight cost "a little more" is that it included no change fees. This wasn't represented correctly. I wasn't advised when paid in full, it wasn't in effect. Of course the lounge issue isn't their problem- it is Delta's. In addition, if you book with flights by Celebrity, or another third party, Delta has zero responsibility.
  14. In the future, I will reserve flights accordingly
  15. We love Bermuda- Beaches great- interesting sites to see. We used to go every August from NJ, but they no longer sail to Bermuda when it works for us. Love the Summit also. Enjoy your special cruise!
  16. Since Covid, I haven't flown out of Fort Lauderdale- does this apply to Miami and Orlando as well? Does it apply across the board?
  17. While this is a problem with choice air, I thought I would have more people see it on the regular celebrity cruise critic site. We recently sailed on the Apex in January out of Fort Lauderdale- we as we typically do, used choice air and flew delta. We arrived at the airport about 8:15 AM to depart out of Fort Lauderdale airport. Checked our luggage outside- no problem. Proceeded to the Delta lounge- we were told that because our flight departure was after 12 noon, we couldn't enter the lounge- not sure if a new rule, but you can only access the lounge three hours before your flight IF their is room in the lounge. We had to wait about 1/2 hour to get into the small cramped airport lounge. We also have another cruise booked in March. Over the past few months the time of departure has been moved up. I didn't realize until our January cruise that departure after three o'clock would be a real problem. We wouldn't be allowed to check our luggage (earliest 5 hours before your flight) or use the lounge. We decided to change our return flight. We had to pay a $200 pp penalty to choice air! Didn't realize this would be a problem, as the initial flight we booked was scheduled to depart about 1:00 PM! I was told since we paid in full- basically too bad. Not sure if this is a ft. Lauderdale only issue, or something new since covid. Based on this, I will not use choice air again. Had we dealt directly with delta, change would have been easier! We fly first class and are frequent flyer members.

  19. While we sail in suites now, on the edge class ships we sometimes dine in the regular restaurants. Just for a change of pace. Not crazy about buffets
  20. Not every day. Not served on port days. However you can have lunch in the retreat. Menu is limited to a wrap, cesar salad and a nice burger with the works. They come with french fries and chips. Also about 3 Pm in the retreat lounge you get sandwiches and desserts
  21. Imo reason to book concierge class is the extra points you get. Otherwise if not important, I agree regular balcony cabin and a few dinners at specialty restaurants
  22. Then I surely wouldn’t sail on odyssey. Keep the “ultra”.
