Cruise a holic

We typically stay in a suite and enjoy luminae for breakfast and some lunches. However we do treat ourselves to specialty restaurants. We love the lawn club grill, murano and Le Petit Chef- Tuscan grill ok but not the greatest. We do not eat sushi so avoid sushi on five. Also the Porch is excellent for lunch if you enjoy seafood. While all not necessary, a great special treat. Enjoy your vacation.

This is such a hot topic. We like to dress and enjoy chic night- I no longer wear a gown- a fancy dress or silk pants and a dressy top is what I wear now- my DH enjoys dressing up and always wears a tie and jacket chic nights.And he also dresses for work in a shirt and tie daily. We have seen the full gamet as others have said. From housework and gardening attire to ballroom clothes. Do what you feel you will be comfortable wearing. Just no gym or pool attire. Celebrity has listed what they consider Chic attire for those who need recommendations. Enjoy your cruise

You can get toast a buffet and bring to elite breakfast if important.

I believe you get special coffee and mimosa’s, at elite breakfast, if the same as s and m class ships.

What time?

While we do love the S and M class ships, the Martini bars, are very noisy and very crowded during peak times of the day- E class offers much more seating- while the ice bar is missed. The aft cabins have regular balconies on the e-class ships, so for those who do not like the infinite balcony a great option.

That is one reason we nixed a cabana. Do not like the idea of the fact that they are off a public hallway- feel like a caged animal in the zoo. We did enjoy the cabana's on the S class ships. Private. Didn't miss the fact that they faced the lawn.

We found the passes a waste. Used the "spa" once for a short time. Buy something in the shops if you have credit. IMO only, others might disagree.

Where is the Elite breakfast served on the Apex?

I would book CC aft. You are getting extra points and a few perks. Supposed to have better bedding also.

My brother in law who is 76 enjoys snorkeling. He is interested in knowing if he can snorkel at coco key and labadee. Do they offer snorkeling? any age restrictions.

We have previously had Zoey, she was great. Our last butler wasn't.

We loved the Lawn Club Grill also! One reason we loved the Silhouette or Reflection. Glass blowing nice, on the other S class ships, but if you have done it one that is enough for me.

We enjoy both- the Silly and Reflection our favorite S class ships. The e-class ships are more formal IMO. Better shopping if you aren't into the $10 merchandise. Entertainment great. The suite lounge and deck are wonderful on the E-class ships. Also if not in a suite, the optionaL Dining at different dining rooms great- it is like being in a specialty restaurant daily. Enjoy all of your cruises. Never had a bad celebrity cruise on any class of ship.

we have done laundry on board. I think $40 per bag. But they do offer some specials and if you are elite and above get some free laundry. We have used the service multiple times. We send out underware, PJ's and tee shirts. Never had a problem. They also offer dry cleaning- not cheap for your better garments. This is the downside of soft luggage as the hard side doesn't have the weather problem. Enjoy your cruise

We typically have much too much luggage to carry. But as suite guests, we are off the ship early with our luggage and taxi to the airport- we also do curbside check in.

We made sure we were on the Shaded side of the ship- the attendant will help you identify the best cabana.. Only drinks included is a bottle of champagne, h20 and perhaps but not sure as we don't drink it- beer. They also bring you a really nice fruit platter on request and a cheese platter- also a light lunch which they will bring to you. No worry about chair hogs. the sea is behind you or in front of your cabana-

While we enjoy the M class summit which has been updated, we prefer the S class ships, especially the Reflection and Silhouette which has the lawn club grill. our favorite specialty restaurant. We also enjoy the new Edge class ships.

We booked one day. When we came on board, decided to take for the week- we got a discount. So if you want for the week- tell them on board and hopefully you will get a discount.

Yes. However one of my neighbors who is 40 something died. He didn't have any immunization. We have had immunization including boosters. So with proper precautions I feel relatively safe. My DH had mild covid a few months ago. I didn't catch it.

yep- first two passengers in the stateroom.

I am interested as a person who will be cruising in less then two weeks to determine if perhaps the ship has covid- and or flu going around. I will wear a mask in elevators and busy areas of the ship. Snarky remarks aren't appreciated.

Just saw a person being removed by stretcher to an ambulance from what appears to be an NCL ship docked in Bermuda this morning. Any idea why?
