  1. CJ ... We booked Virtuosa two days ago in Aurea, when I logged in to my account and went through the details it says access to the thermal area is included.
  2. Tissues used to be in every cabin regardless of experience, then a couple of years back MSC decided to make cutbacks and tissues were one of the things that went. The trouble is like the land based operations where you can get three different answers to the same question from three different people, YouCan have three different items that may or may not be available on three different ships.
  3. Think your reading of Costa and Aida might be wrong. Another Carnival Cruise Brand Touts Record Bookings (cruisehive.com)
  4. But budget Costa (CCL in Europe) is going down... For a reason!... Nuna Costa are the only ones with a decent 15 night cruise itinerary in the Med this year and at a reasonable price.
  5. Not in Europe where the other lines usually send their older ships, though NCL and Royal have a newer ship each this year sailing in Europe.
  6. A shame that we had to cancel Bea but that's life as they sa,y be interested in what you think of your cabin. Managed to book Virtuosa for April.
  7. Until the Left hand knows what the Right hand is doing MSC will never be the best, land based agents who know less than those who have sailed with them many times and give conflicting answers, Guest services staff who often have no clue how to resolve issues and food complaints ongoing since we first sailed with them in 2012. They may get bigger but that is not always better.
  8. Black card members used to get 20% discount on future cruises, Gold 15 and Silver 10, typical MSC response re too many Diamond card holders, what do they expect when they gave them away like confetti. Beyond time MSC rewarded those who earned their Diamond status by sailing with them by working their way up, how about you upgrade us to the new level eh MSC?
  9. Appears to have been a number of these in the last two weeks with Virgin, Royal and Celebrity picking people up.
  10. Never been Adults only on any of our cruises.
  11. As a previous poster mentioned Blankenberg is a nice place and the tram stop is a short walk from the port gate, turn right out of the port and you will find the stop near a submarine moored nearby. Rotterdam to the town is walkable, turn left out of the port and go to the road junction, turn left again and cross the road bridge, follow the road on the right hand side which takes you past an open air museum with old railway trucks on a quayside. Continue walking and you will come to a shopping centre. To return just retrace the route, worth looking at Google maps of the route beforehand. There are also trip boats across the river from the the ship moors up.
  12. Some years ago the mods were asked to have a separate page for YC posts, but nothing happened.
  13. This is page from the UK site, notice the 40% discount for Spa access. On board Experience | MSC Cruises
  14. Those Aft Suites are really good and were great value when Aurea included the Spa and a drink package, paying so much more than Fantastica for a dedicated restaurant and the sun deck seems somewhat pointless now.
  15. Depending on when you booked and when it was changed means you will have it included, we have it included for the Europa booking we made a long time ago. This is the trouble with MSC they change things and do not tell people, and only when you get onboard the ship do you find out what you thought you were getting is no longer available leaving guest services to clean up the mess.
  16. Yesterday when I looked on the UK website there was no longer any mention of access to the Spa being included for Aurea guests, instead it now says a 40% discount on a Spa dedicated prepaid package!
  17. Not yet sailed with HAL but looking at an Alaska cruise for May this year in a Spa Verandah and wondered if it gives access to the Retreat ?
  18. Had one on Deck 14 on the Seaside Inaugural out of Miami, great views and very little noise from anywhere.
  19. Likely to be Euro onboard as the ship is heading to Europe.
  20. Same is true with the mini bar, too many anomalies between the ships as you say.
  21. The last one we did some years ago worked in that way, it was odd for sure. Maybe things have changed now, though there would still have to be more than one per Seven day week.
  22. One drawback is that Gala nights for each boarding can be on different nights which can mean not so many will dress up.
  23. Utter nonsense, where did you make that up from? Clearly you know little about MSC or the Experiences.
