  1. Yes, but now you are getting 5 FREE drinks (up to $13.00 value) that you can use at anytime and any bar. If you used up your 5 FREE already, I know you must be enjoying your cruise...🥤😃
  2. Nope. we love them all. In fact we actually have outfits that we wear to make it even more fun.
  3. I would say YESSSSSS!!!! Awesome... We already pay extra for most of those things anyways. This just make sit easier to know everything is included.
  4. None of the above. We are already D+ and will still be very far away from reaching "Pinnacle". Nice to think about however.
  5. I live days at sea. The more, the better. I would definitely go on a cruise that never stopped at a port. However, my wife might have something else to say about that.
  6. You can get it (wait for it...) when you order a "Pina Colada' and just let the ice melt..😎
  7. Left. We live in Orlando and can on her within an hour of leaving home. We have sailed on her twice.
  8. We have a 16 day "Panama Canal" cruifor still booked with NCL on the "BLISS". Before you all start hating on us as not being on an RCCL cruise. We are Diamond Plus and have had 4 previous RCCL cruises cancelled due to Covid-19. This 1 NCL cruise is all we have left for this year. 🥴😎
  9. We are booked on the "Panama Canal" cruise November 29 - Dec. 15, 2020 from Miami to Los Angeles. I hope that it may still go, even with reduced capacity, mask wearing , etc... We did this same itinerary on its maiden "Panama Canal" cruise in May of 2018 and we had a BLAST!!!!!!
  10. I just repriced my November 2020 Panama Canal cruise on the "Bliss" using this new "Promo". The price is $300.00 higher and I lose 2 "Free at Sea" options.🤬
  11. One question. Haven't we all been financially impacted in one way or another? Whether it be due to job loss/furloughs/pay cuts, etc.. or 401K's . So to say that they may be affected is no big deal...
  12. I wouldn't say we are frugal, nor are we over-spenders either. We always book a balcony cabin on cruises 7 days or longer (we might do inside on a weekend cruise), usually mid-ship on a higher deck. It costs whatever it costs. We always get the unlimited drink package (not because we drink a ton, mostly for the convenience of it). We do try and save money on excursions by searching out a similar type of excursions that the cruiseline offers, only through a private, reputable company. I learned many years ago the hard way (my first time to Europe to go on a cruise) if I see something that we want to do, just put it on a credit card and pay for it when we get home. I say this because once you get home and start thinking about what you should have done while you were there, it is a lot more money to go back to Europe to try and do it next time..
  13. This happened to my wife for one of her customers as well. They will take it back and give it to the Travel Agent..
  14. That is correct, Canadian CITIZENS can get into Canada. However they would still have to 14 day self quarantine once they got there. I know this because I am a Canadian Citizen (living in the US) and I wanted to go back and visit my family for a short visit and realized that it wouldn't be worth all of the hoops that I would have to go through. (ex. 14 day self quarantine once I got to Canada and then another 14 day self quarantine once I got back to the US. I would actually spend way more time in quarantine than with my family. Also, I don't have that much vacation time from work...
  15. Well, that would make sense since you can't cruise now anyways.
  16. We were on The "Mariner" for "Superbowl" weekend (first weekend in February) we were a group of 9 and we all loved it. We live in Orlando and usually sail the "Bahamas" weekend cruises 3 - 4 times a year. First time doing it on the "Mariner" and it was AWESOME!!!!! We have since tried to re-book it for a B2B2B in September and just found out that all 3 have been cancelled. 😞 We will keep trying to get on her before she changes her itinerary next year. All in all, I would say go for it.
  17. I'm not sure about a 10 y.o. However, I can verify that a 4 y.o. is not required to get it. We took our niece and her 4 y.o. daughter on the "Harmony" last December, we had the UDP for the 3 of us and the little one just ate whatever.
  18. Where did you find that? I would love to get one for my wife...
  19. You may want to try "GO PORT CANAVERAL". They are an all inclusive travel/transportation company. They can arrange airport pick-up, hotel stay and transfers to the port and then get you back to the airport as well.
  20. Ready to cruise like, yesterday.... Sadly, the CDC & cruiselines wont let me. I am willing to wear a face covering, have my temperature regularly checked and even wear gloves and use hand sanitizer.. We currently have 3 B2B2B cruises (3/4 night cruises) booked with RCCL (Mariner of the Seas) and are hoping that they will go. Also Have a 16 day "Panama Canal" cruise with NCL (Bliss) in late November. I also hope that that still goes a scheduled.
  21. From where "RCCL" usually stops, it is almost right across the street. Very convenient. Used it last December on the 'Harmony".
  22. My wife is a travel agent as well (owns her own home based agency), It seems like she been on hold with RCCL for a minimum of 2-2 1/2 hours every day for the past 8 - 10 weeks. She just has to stay patient and often has to walk their operators through the steps to help them help her. RCCL can charge a customer in a heartbeat. However, the refund might not come until the customers heart has stopped beating.😀🙃 (very long wait times for refunds)😴😴
  23. Well, sort of. I met my now wife of almost 23 years right before I was to go on my first cruise back in 1993. I say before because I am from Canada and a friend of mine had asked me to go on a "group cruise" with him out of Tampa, Fl. I said yes, went to Tampa and we actually met at a a sort of meet & greet before the cruise we were to go on. 80+ cruises and like I said almost 23 years (all happy) later we are still going strong and are waiting for the cruise industry to open up again so the we can celebrate our 23rd, wedding anniversary in September. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I moved to Florida (Orlando) from Toronto and she moved from Daytona Beach.
  24. Wow, I'm not sure how to respond to a post like that. you want the cruiseline to go bankrupt? What about their employees and their families and travel agents and the many other hospitality sectors that rely on cruise business . All because you can't seem to get a refund in "Your time frame". In the interest of full disclosure, my wife is a travel agent (she owns her own home based travel agency) she is the one who actually is spending hours on end cancelling cruises, arranging refunds, re-booking customers for cruises at a later date. Yet we both can''t wait to go on our next cruise, whenever that would be. Next time, when you post please think about others who may be impacted by your "HOPES". PS. You might want to change your screen name to Uncool Cruiser.....
