  1. I only mentioned that the Doubletree was a Hilton property as the OP was looking for Marriot properties only. You are right, that is Casablanca on the Bay. They have a great happy hour.
  2. I've had my muster station be in the art gallery which was difficult for anyone to needed to sit while waiting for it to start. That clearly was pre covid.
  3. Here is the latest update with some dates.... FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., (April 13, 2024) – Princess Cruises today announced it is making a significant enhancement to the main dining options found across its fleet, designed to give guests the ultimate in flexibility and choice when it comes to their dining experience by offering three table service options – Traditional, Reservable, or Walk-in Anytime - coupled with the brand’s industry exclusive OceanNow location-based “anywhere” service. With a dedication to personal preference and individualized service, Princess will designate separate dining rooms aboard every ship in the fleet* to the three table service options – one dedicated to traditional dining offering an early and a late seating every evening; one offering reservable dining times; and a third with open seating to support walk-ins anytime. The three table service options integrate with the line’s unparalleled OceanNow, which provides guests the convenience of ordering anything, anytime, and receiving it anywhere onboard, making Princess uniquely positioned to accommodate all guest dining preferences. Making all dining formats available fleetwide follows the resounding success of this new approach already implemented aboard the new Sun Princess. With the stunning introduction of the new next level Love Boat came the debut of three-story dining room with one floor dedicated to traditional dining, another serving guests with a flexible reservation and a third for anytime walk-ins. “Our guests have been delighted with the dining flexibility aboard Sun Princess and we’re pleased to extend the concept to all the other ships in our fleet,” said Sami Kohen, Princess Cruises vice president of food and beverage. “Now whether guests prefer an early seating every evening, or change things up every night, or even change their mind, these flexible dining options ensure that their dining preference is effortlessly accommodated.” Starting on April 15, 2024, the new approach will launch on Princess voyages departing September 14, 2024 and beyond. To support these changes and the transition to the new system, main dining reservations that already have been made for voyages sailing September 14 and beyond for any ship except Sun Princess will be cancelled. Main dining reservations for guests sailing through September 13 will not be affected. Starting June 17, booked guests will be able to use the app ahead of their voyage to opt for traditional seating in a dedicated dining room with the same waiter, same table and same time each night, or flexible dining, allowing them to enjoy dinner at any available time and table size of their choosing in either the Reservable or Open Seating dining rooms. This change does not affect guests booked in specialty dining restaurants or suite or reserve collection accommodations, who enjoy a dedicated dining room on Princess ships, where no reservations are required.
  4. Did you have any excursions booked that perhaps got canceled?
  5. Thank you for finding that and posting it. I was just about crying I was laughing so much.
  6. That's great to hear, thank you for the update on him.
  7. No way will you be able to do an Uber XL for that but there is an Uber XXL over in Miami. While it can take the riders very comfortably, I'm not sure that it will fit 6 large suitcases.
  8. As long as it's not rush hour, it's about a 15-18 minute drive into Brickell. if you are looking for a way to spend a few hours, then it's worth it. Brickell City Centre is nice, lots of restaurants and places to have cocktails. You can also walk down to the water and see the port. If you are just looking for a place to have dinner, then I'm not sure I would go all the way there.
  9. I'll try and remember to ask if they would have them next week while on the enchanted.
  10. I asked once and was told no so never bothered to ask again.
  11. You have more information on your, so if it's okay, I will merge them. @LACruiser88
  12. That's a great location to stay at, it's just a Hilton property not a Marriott.
  13. Those are the 2 I usually drink and had on the Sky. I'm hoping they have them on The Enchanted.
  14. JW Marriott on Brickell would be perfect for what you are looking for. And you can always stay one night there and rent a car to head to key west and spend the night at a Marriott property in Key West or along the way back to Miami. Then stop at the zoo on your way back.
  15. My PVP also posted this and it starts fleet wide will launch feel wide on voyages departing September 1, 2024 and beyond.
  16. I remember one bartender, Jonathan, who was on a few of our sailings and would play the Ukulele at night at Crooners on one ship and Vines on another. Everyone would always love it and it was the perfect way to end the night. I'll have to ask Jovie if she knows if he is still around. I know he was in the show one time. I just checked my app for the 4/20 Enchanted sailing and there isn't one listed. 😞
  17. Happy to hear that as we board next Saturday. Bon Voyage and enjoy your cruise!
  18. @LACruiser88That's great to hear as we board the Enchanted on 4/20!!
  19. I saw Ron Goodman's name on a thread and it made me laugh as I remembered all the crew shows that I saw him in his pink tutu during the "if I was not upon the sea" song during the crew show. Used to love seeing all the crew show off their talent. It was always well attended and such a special thing. Great outlet for the crew to have some fun and show off. Princess, please think about bringing it back!
  20. Thank you so much! So excited for you that you were on this trip. Can't wait to hear all about it!
  21. There have been posters who have said they booked it in the lounge. Were you not able to?
  22. If they had to do a refare prior to final payment, I would think it's the same after final payment.
  23. Ask at the restaurant and you will get the exact answer that you need. I have asked and been told that on the last night they relax the dress code as many have already packed. I don't eat in the MDR on the last night or most nights frankly. If you have to have your bags out at 8 PM then I would think that they have relaxed the dress code but who knows.
