it doesn’t make me unhappy, nor do I worry about it. Just stating that the rules are so easy to follow…

capris and blouse for women will be appropriate in any dining venue. Shorts for the buffet are okay for men, but not for other dining venues.

I don’t think it’s about who is relaxed and who isn’t….how hard is it to dress within the dress code? Shirt, pants, shoes…. Easy to pack and you could probably do it in the dark.

Yes, at least ours did. Your window for reservations opens up 15 days before your traveling companions in C2. I’ve read here that some people have been able to do it on line, but when I tried on line it wouldn’t accept it even though our friends were fully paid. That’s when I called my TA and she took care of it. Good luck!

Booking number and names are all you need, but concierge level reservations open before C2. If you wait until C2 reservations open, it may be difficult to get a table for 6 at the time you want. I was unable to do it online, but my TA did it for me.

I was told that there is no silver discount when upgrading, unless things have changed. It was always silver discount applied only when purchasing prestige drink package before boarding. 🍹

I was told it has to be when purchasing full package pre cruise.

Don’t know if it’s still possible, but pre Covid we had afternoon tea served in our Neptune suite.

The “bathrobe” tote bag was given in the cabanas (when O had cabanas😢). The bag was filled with O swag, beach towels, hats, visors and sun products. They were also given (pre Covid, not sure about now) to the upper suites filled with the same goodies and often placed on lounges on the balcony.

If your drink cost is over the stated limit, you are charged the full price for the drink plus the gratuity.

It would depend on the cruise line. Some yes, some no. What line are sailing on? Also, check the boards of that line. I’m sure you will fine numerous threads on the subject. K

We did this cruise also and had a retreat cabana reserved. The views from the cabana area were spectacular!

Hi Gracie, first off, whatever level you book you will have a wonderful time! Don’t stress too much. I’ve not been in a PH on Marina, but I was in one on the smaller ships. I can tell you everything in a PH on the larger ships will be bigger. The walk in closet is an amenity that will be very useful on a 42 day cruise. Having dinner in your suite is a great PH perk. Served by your butler, course by course, is heaven after a long day on shore or just because you feel like having your own private dining room. Pre cruise dining reservations are available to PH first and you would also have the added benefit of a butler to assist if you would like addition ones. Butlers on O are usually superb! I can’t remember when we ever had a butler that wasn’t attentive. Their job is to make your cruise experience the best it can be, but it’s important to express your needs to them. I’m sure others can make additional comments and give you ideas as to the best PH suite or concierge cabins. good luck! k

Weather is so changeable. I would use google to determine the climate of the area. Certainly it wouldn’t be a guarantee, but it would give you some idea of what to expect. I would also check reviews for nautica. Many times the reviewer will include cabin information that will be helpful. It also depends if you are a light packer or bring the kitchen sink (like me!😂) There probably are some Youtube videos that may provide some necessary information as well. good luck!

i think it is after 15 cruises that the deviation fee is waved or has that changed?
