If I stay a few days, I have stayed 7x at Best Western Oceanside, 100 yards to beach, pool, free hot breakfast, bar that sells food, refrigerator, microwave, bus ($1 for seniors) outside the hotel, walking distance to water taxi, walk along water front to restaurants, $ washer/dryers, friendly staff. No shuttle to hotel, (about $30-35 by taxi),can put your name down for $ shuttle to Port Everglades.

In the Island the specialty cakes in the buffet where they service regular desserts. For the Plus ice cream dessert, I ask for the wrapped suckers and 1 scoop of ice cream with chocolate sauce in a glass. Milkshakes ($7 if paying) are included in the Plus package.

I have stayed 5x at Premier Inn Waterloo (Westminster Bridge). I take a twin room - 1 double bed and a day bed. I always take Premier Inn’s twin rooms as we are 2 senior ladies that travel together. Hotel has A/C, bar, restaurant, close to London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Thamas river, HOHO, regular bus, 2 tubes station, Waterloo train station, pubs, restaurants, stores. www.premierinn.com

OP here, I ordered from the app some sandwiches today:to be delivered to my cabin. I asked the room server where to put the dirty plates, “ outside your cabin door. I can only deliver clean food plates, someone else will pick up the dirty plates”.

Presently on the Island doing 14 day Mediterranean. It was mentioned here, that the stores on the ship were not giving out paper bags with purchasing. On the Island, paper bags given out with purchases. I ordered food from the app to be deliver to my cabin. I called room service where do I put my dirty dishes. I was told “outside your cabin door”, there were picked up a short time later

I book Princess EzAir Flexible (no payment until Cruise final payment, can modify up to 45 days of flight) when the flights are released 330 days of disembarkment day. I watch EzAir prices and modify if the price goes down. I also watch the airline price. Near final payment for EzAir/cruise, I check airline price and EzAir price and take which is cheaper.

Effective Nov 1, tips are increasing on RCL - - junior suites and below -from $16 to $18 - suites - from $18 to $20.50 They have until Nov 11 to prepay or once onboard will have to pay new rate. Will Princess increase their rates?

I am flying return Toronto to Rome in November. I asked my friend who is an AC pilot if they are going to strike in November. He replied “ if they strike, it won’t be until next year, could be like March if they do”.

I went in 2013 and 2015 on the British Isle cruises. Edinburgh was a tender port so Glasgow was used to see the Edinburgh Tattoo. Glasgow port the ship left late around 2am so people could travel to Edinburgh to see the Edinburgh Tattoo. I was looking at Aug/Sept 2024 and 2025 British Isles cruises, I do not see where at Glasgow and Edinburgh having late departure. Is the Edinburgh Tattoo not being offered anymore?

I will be on the Island in Nov. The Island does not have the International Cafe for any quick breakfast items. I have a few excursions that start at 7:30am. Room service starts at 6:30-7, I don’t know if we would get it on time. I think ordering breakfast from the app might be an idea. Can you order breakfast from the app at anytime? Anybody have a picture of the breakfast items available on the app?
