Don;t know what ship you are currently onboard but the Apex MDR menus were completely decimated 2 weeks ago. All the traditional favorites like Prime Rib, Beef Tournados, Shrimp Scampi and Rack of Lamb are gone. FYI we found that the menu's in the app are not accurate until onboard and connected to the ship;s WiFi !!!

Were onboard Apex the last 2 weeks and it is still on the kids menu there. Had it MANY MANY times since the adult menu has been completely decimated !!!

We switched from HA to Celebrity in 1993 because of the food. Been on over 160 Celebrity cruises each since. Food has been constantly declining. Sailing Apex this month. From what I hear about the changes maybe never again !!!

We booked 6 dates in Nov / Dec 2024 in Concierge. TA got a call, I don't know the details. She emailed her Celebrity marketing manager about it. Comparing my booked price with what is on the Celebrity web site now the prices have doubled. An increase but certainly less than the 10X others have quoted !!! There are MANY cruises where the price doubles as cabins are sold !!! Not a huge error in my mind.

S class ships have the connection in the vestibule outside the cabins. M and E class ships have a door inside the cabin. Were on Beyond recently with interconnecting cabins. A door with a lock in each cabin. Had to open and pop the lock to use. OP specifically is asking about Beyond.

Unfortunately going forward the customer has no idea of if Celebrity will honor any future booking !!!

We were onboard Apex and Beyond in November and they had both already converted to 100% anytime dining !!!

We were onboard last week. Talked to the IT director about it. They are still installing all the upgrades including upgrades to the internal ships network. Plan to start testing on Christmas day. He was really unsure when it would go live replacing the existing internet.

The shrimp's provided to me in Fine Cut were significantly larger than those provided in the MDR on the same cruise.....

That is an old menu. Was also on the Oct 26 sailing. Fine Cut did in fact NOT have shrimp cocktail on the menu. But I asked and they provided !!!

I was on Beyond Oct 26 sailing with the new Starlink. With the Zenith premium internet I got consistently about 2.5 mb/s down. Maybe due to the ship throttling but have seen higher on S class ships with the old internet (up to 4 mb/s). Still VERY slow. Takes minutes per app to download updates. Switched to cellular when we arrived in Ft Lauderdale (600+ mb/s) and app update download was instantaneous !!!

Yes there are very few Zeniths who do not sail in a suite now. Just what LLP wants !!!!

The changeover was in late 2013. Before that you received "credits". One per cruise, plus one more if concierge or higher and a third if a 10 night plus cruise. At changeover your number of credits was multiplied by 30 to convert to the current points system. Pre conversion Zenith was 100 credits, now 3000 points. MUCH harder to move up now unless sailing in high end suites. Many new Zenith members since the restart at the Zenith lunch on Beyond last week !!!

OK. The thread is about the Beyond sailing in late October 2022 so I presumed we were talking about that cruise......

There are also stops in Curacao and Aruba that should qualify as distant non - US ports.

Is there a requirement to spend a certain number of hours per day gambling on these "free" cruises? I know in the past the big spenders got free cruises but had to spend many hours per day gambling.......

We always do the online check-in for all segments of multi segment cruises !!!

The simple solution to the lack of Zenith access to the Retreat lounge is the creation of a Zenith Plus level at 7500 points (same ratio as Elite to Elite Plus). Zenith Plus could then be allowed access to the Retreat lounge. We cruise very frequently and there are VERY few passengers with over 7500 points onboard. Or just create a Zenith lounge on EVERY ship like Royal Caribbean did (before they restored Pinnacle access to the suite lounges !!!

Did they charge extra for the Pouilly Fuesse ??? They give us a bottle of it as the high cruiser but never include it as part of the premium package !!!!

In Central Florida Walgreens is now $128 per person cash up front even with Obamacare. They said if you have no insurance it is free, they just bill the federal government !!! Got tested elsewhere, they submit a $75 per person charge to insurance. Liable if insurance does not cover it. Everywhere was free just a few weeks ago !!!

No prime rib on ANY night? Another cutback ????
