  1. OK this sounds good. Our cruise leaves June 11 and we want to take the tests June 8 (it will be the rapid antigen test and we are classified as up-to-date on our Covid vaccinations/boosters). On the Caribbean Princess; no Canada visit.
  2. Since Princess changed the testing requirement from 2 days to 3 days prior to boarding for up-to-date passengers (received all recommended Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster doses), has anyone up-to-date actually taken their Covid test 3 days prior to boarding? We have a Saturday sailing in June out of Ft Lauderdale and I'd love to take the Covid test on the previous Wednesday instead of Thursday but I've read that some up-do-date people are still getting their test 2 days ahead of time so there won't be any mix-up when they get to the pier. Curious as to how boarding went for those who actually took their Covid test 3 days beforehand.
  3. So if you are "up to date" with your vaccines and the ship leaves on Saturday, you can get your rapid antigen test (and results) the Wednesday before ??
  4. If you Google worst and busiest airports in the United States, you will see that LAX is on these lists. Good thing you changed your flight.
  5. Plus in taking a cab you do not have to wait for the Princess bus to fill up. And the cab will drop you off at your airline gate; whereas the buses drop you off in the bus area.
  6. Check the tour description. If they say they are wheelchair accessible and have a lift you should be ok. If you'll be in Alaska (ie the united States') you will have more accessible tours than in other countries. Have a great cruise!
  7. It sounds like you're definitely going to need an accessible tour with a lift. As others have said, you definitely need to contact your cruise line's access department (most have access departments that also deal specifically with excursions; some lines even have separate accessible excursion brochures). Your cruise line needs to know about your mobility challenges in any event and will send a form for you to complete. What cruise line are you going on?
  8. Regarding the pre-loved LV bags, here is an ad for them from last November on the Reflection that definitely states they are pre-loved:
  9. We've never had a problem with wet wipes going through security and we fly several times a year. And don't worry about the security people going through your bag because, believe me, they've seen everything.
  10. Can you go directly to your room after boarding to drop off your luggage? We have the 11:00-11:30 boarding group. We'll be on her for the June 11 sailing.
  11. Celebrity allows SpecialNeedsatSea.com and scootaround.com personnel to deliver scooters to your room (or just outside check-in if you are in certain ports). Both these companies basically have the same scooters for rent. If you go with Scootaround, try this 15% discount code: USCRUISE It is from United Spinal Members (you will probably have to actually call and talk to someone at Scootaround to use this code; I've never been able to use it booking directly from their website). Celebrity will also need to know about any mobility or special needs and they have a form for you to complete. This link has Celebrity's Access Department contact information: https://www.celebritycruises.com/special-needs/accessibility Do you have an accessible stateroom? Scooters cannot be left in the hall.
  12. Amazon has lots of wheelchcair / walker bags: https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Wheelchair-Bags-Baskets/zgbs/hpc/13106301 https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wheelchair+bag&i=hpc&crid=2BY9UOO6PVM75
  13. Free drinks in the casino if you are playing. This is from the Reflection in November 2021:
  14. It depends on the ship and port as to where the scooter is delivered. We have had scooters delivered a couple of times at the pier and it was great because you have the scooter from the time you get there. But more often they are delivered to your stateroom.
  15. Where is this restaurant on the Caribbean Princess? I can't find it on the deck plan. It's showing as a Speciality Restaurant on the app for our June 11 sailing.
