Yes we had them this year so far in OS's on Navigator, Explorer, Jewel but not in a GS on Harmony.
I'll be on Serenade next in a GS and then an OS hope they have them.
The best vanilla in Mexico or Caribbean is the brand "Orlando"...However I like the Costco Kirkland pure vanilla brand better....if you happen to be a member...sold at all their locations.
You'll love the Mexican Riviera and Navigator. Our home and favorite port is San Pedro.
It's this itinerary in the early 1990's that started our addiction to cruising with RCI even though it was on the Viking Serenade and then the Vision...my how the ships have changed.
We waited a long time for RCI to return to our coast and so happy to have Navigator. Sailed on her in January and will be sailing again this coming January.
These ports are so friendly and easy to manage. After sailing to these ports many many times they never get old. Actually an excursion isn't even necessary.
Enjoy...you won't be sorry.
Since you actually have an onboard overnight...this might be doable...we did it when we flew from the west coast to Dublin.
But not taking the time to enjoy Quebec City...so sad. We absolutely enjoyed our pre-cruise there and stayed at the Place d' Armes at a great rate.
We found it pretty easy to fly from LAX to YQB.
The port #92/93 at San Pedro is an easy one to sail from. Lot's of parking. You should have no trouble getting into the terminal around your check in time...good chances are they aren't strict with timing....lot's of seating inside if you even need it.
Driving...Don't go over the bridge...as you exit the freeway follow the good signage to the port parking lot. You'll see how easy this is.
No..the GS's on Harmony don't have the magnifying mirror. This is one feature that I wish they did have. I too love this feature that the GS & OS's have on Freedom/Voyager class those actually light up...We also had one in our OS on Jewel but it didn't light up.
