  1. We've had good luck with Cortrans transportation. Used them twice now. They were very prompt, courteous drivers, and nice shuttle buses. We even met the owner as he was on one of the buses when we were picked up at the port. Just my opinion, YMMV. Stingray
  2. I can't remember for sure, but I think 2262 maybe under the back end of one of the lifeboats. Maybe someone else will chime in to verify this for sure. Sorry about that. I will post back if I find anymore info. I know someone had a video on youtube about those cabins, I can see if I can find it. Here it is, at about the 3:00 minute mark she talks about the lifeboats. She is actually in 2264 on the Breeze. Stingray
  3. We were on the Dream in room 2268 and had a good experience and really liked it's location and experienced no noise from the lobby area above. In addition 2268 did not not have a life boat above it and I believe 2264 does not have one either. As far as I know this should be the same room numbering layout as the Breeze and Magic. It was far enough back that the spray wasn't bad, only a slight wetness on railing at times when seas were a little rough.
  4. Thanks for this info, we will definitely check them out for an excursion, sounds like just what we need. Stingray
  5. Do you remember which whale watching excursion you booked or what company/boat you were on. My son would like to do a whale watching tour and we want to make sure we get the right tour company/boat that is wheelchair accessible. Any information you could provide for this would be great. Thanks Stingray310
  6. What time did they end up passing each other? What is a good time range to start looking? I've seen others say between 11:00 and 11:30. Is that still an accurate time or should I expand my viewing time to maybe between 10:00 and 12:00? Leaving 2/10/19 and hoping to see them pass. Thanks, Stingray310
  7. I was wondering what the price was per person for your trip using KLM transportation, and was you hotel close to the cruise port.
  8. I have no experience cruising out of Port Canaveral, but I have cruised several times out of the Miami & Ft. Lauderdale ports, so I am not familiar with the Port Canaveral terminal and times and distances to the Orlando airport for making earlier flights. I'm just wondering what others opinions are of making and 11:35am flight from Orlando airport. I know Carnival does not recommend any return flights earlier than 12:50pm, but I know in Miami we typically get off the ship and we can be at Ft. Lauderdale airport by 8:00 or 8:30, so I know Carnival allows a lot of buffer on their recommended flight times. We have Platinum status with Carnival so there is not a problem with getting off of the ship early, but I'm just looking for recommendations from previous Port Canaveral terminal cruisers on the best way whether to take a shared shuttle, private shuttle or rental car, because I don't think Carnival will let us take their shuttle with an 11:35 flight. Our other option is to wait for a 3:50 or later flight and rent a car and find something else to do before our flight, but I think we will just be ready to get on a plane and head back home after being away for a week. I know there are many unforeseen factors that could affect the debarkation times, but I'm just looking for peoples typical arrival times at the Orlando airport based on previous experiences without delays or other problems. Thanks, Cruiser310
