  1. There is a fee for washer & dryer ($3.50 each?) in addition to purchasing detergent.
  2. My first ones were Mondavi but more recently Silverado…as you wrote same idea & we enjoyed both versions.
  3. This is from their current dining list on their website which doesn’t necessarily mean it accurately reflects onboard availability & pricing.
  4. I’ve greatly enjoyed many of the Silverado versions which were in the 12 person Wine Cellars located in both midship MDRs.
  5. For me losing the walk-in closet for a couch is a good exchange.
  6. For our 50th nothing was provided for free so the free dinner must be a perk from your booking source & as others have recommended check with them because that is not a Princess perk for celebrating an anniversary.
  7. Based on reports from those who have experienced the Caymus version, it’s $140 (plus now 18% tip) and the CG was closed for the evening for that dinner.
  8. Thanks for the correction…with no recent reports of the Silverado version (shows $45 on the current dining options list) wonder what they’re using the Wine Cellar areas for in the 2 midship MDRs.
  9. Thanks…wow…closed the CG for a dinner for 12. 😳 That’s bizarre when they have two midship Wine Cellars that were used for the Silverado version.
  10. We’ll see you in only 5 weeks after immediately booking 20 months in advance. This will be our first Princess cruise since Discovery’s inaugural cruises in Spring 2022. We’ve been spreading our sails trying new cruise lines…Celebrity & Oceania. Next Spring we have 50 days booked on Princess around Oz & back to LA. 😃
  11. You usually have faster fingers than me by providing great helpful info. 👍😊
  12. Our exclusive "Aloha Spirit" program brings the sights and sounds of Hawaii to life on board with a wide variety of island-infused entertainment and enrichment programs, including: Hawaiian Ambassadors on board every sailing Lei-making workshops Ukulele playing, and Hula dance lessons Polynesian language classes A special Grand Hawaiian Farewell Luau, where guests show off their new Hawaii-inspired talents The Halau Hula Olana Folkloric Show — a Princess guest favorite Hawaiian musicians, naturalists, and entertainers The historic King Kamehameha Festival celebrated on board, as part of our Festivals of the World program https://www.princess.com/en-us/cruise-destinations/hawaii-cruises
  13. Thanks for sharing your opinions about the Caymus WMD…was it in one of the midship dining room’s Wine Cellars like the Silverado WMD on the Royal-class ships? I had no plans to go to the Caymus version at more than triple the cost of the Silverado version & your experience confirms my opinion about another expensive Princess experience.
  14. We got invited on B2B roundtrip Vancouver cruises but each time to Alaska & on CA Coastal cruises it has a cocktail party for us. Years ago when I had 160 days I was the #6 MTP…that’ll never happen again. 😂 Our only lunch was on a Hawaii cruise with about 350 days & we barely made the cutoff. We’ll hit 500 days on our next cruise although the more we cruise the further away we get from another MTP invitation…but it’s fun trying by sailing more often. 😉
  15. The $140 is for the new Caymus WMD; the $45 was for the Silverado WMD which recent reports state it’s no longer available. I have greatly enjoyed the then $40 Silverado WMD many times but at $140 for the more expensive Caymus wines we will never attend the WMD.
  16. Thanks…with our elite level benefits it’s not cost effective for our style of cruising to get a package. Neither of us drink a lot of anything including alcohol due to health issues. It is good to have options & for some the packages are the better option.
  17. Thanks to both of you for sharing your experiences about tips when booking Australia cruises from the US. In just over a year we’ll be sailing around Australia roundtrip Brisbane & have this thread bookmarked for any additional information. With Princess already reducing the value of complimentary OBCs by a third due to giving the same amount in AUD, our $750 AUD is worth only $500 USD. And onboard AUD prices are equal to USD prices so our buying power is reduced by a third. We sail a second cruise from Auckland to LA which has USD OBC & onboard pricing…and we only have one long flight to Brisbane & a drive home at the end. 😊 cruisevac4 & skents…did you book a standard fare or with Plus or Premier?
  18. @Host CJSKIDS Thanks Carolyn…as always you’re doing a great job keeping things organized & efficient. 😊 Unfortunately my thread has created extra work for you due to few posts…thanks.
  19. I’d recommend following CruiseBruce’s suggestion to call them & Bruin Steve’s to drop off bags at the port for the easy walk to the ship after dropping off the car at Enterprise who might transport you the short distance to the ship…maybe in the car you’re dropping off but call to confirm the procedure. I am unaware if they will transport non guests but during my previous experiences with the shuttle provided as part of their cruise package there were long lines. After the cruise there was a long wait time so I walked the 0.8 mile to the CP to get our car & returned to pickup my wife & our luggage.
  20. This shows dining options including those with a fee: https://www.princess.com/content/dam/princess/corporate/pdfs/restaurants-dining-venues-on-board.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf
  21. Thanks…I have previously used that chargecard benefit however we now rarely fly on AA. Most of our flights are on Hawaiian between Maui & the Mainland and their chargecard has 2 free bags for the card owner.
  22. AA has also announced that for tickets purchased after today passengers will pay more for checked bags…from $30 for the first bag to $40 although when pre-paying it’s $35.
  23. That chart shows both versions of the Winemakers Dinner are only available on Royal-class ships.
